This is a one way in one way out peninsula. Along the outer side the beaches are sandy with surf like waves. The other side of the road has hotels, eateries, apartments with little retail. The whole length has a lot of garbage of plastic....More

Every thing cool with Ilha mussulo, I enjoyed travelling using normal boats, when you reach there water is clean, comfortable to swim, safe guards are also there to accompany and to maintain safety for any case. One thing I don't like is no pure water...More

Mussulo offers both fancy resorts and more easy going areas, including houses which belong to local families. Recommended to go kite surfing, wake boarding or just relaxing with a drink or two.

I've been to Mussulo quite a lot of time and I must say, if one is fed up with the chaotic Luanda in weekdays, this is your weekend destination. You may hire a boat from Samba, Luanda and spend your day at any Resort; there...More

A beautiful island but has too many houses now . I preferred the island in the past when the island was wilder. There are a few resorts. My favorite is Roça das Mangueiras. It has good beaches but I prefer the beaches on the other...More

The rating of Mussulo depends on whether you judge it based on its own virtues, or if you compare it to other options in/around Luanda. Since there is very little to do in Luanda I understand that people get carried away when reviewing Mussulo. Ok,...More

This is a place with a lot of memories, it's always amazing visiting the "island" (it's actually a peninsula but people refer to it as an island) you could actually drive there when the tide is low if you're the adventurous type (just be prepared...More

It is a picturesque place, great food but the trip to Ilha needs a boat. beaches are very clean which is uncommon in Luanda. The rates are very steep from the transport to the meals, that is the downside.

If you want to rest the confusion of the city take a boat and go to Mussulo. Less than an hour from the city center, here are the best beaches in Luanda. Here everything is quiet, there are few people, a few resorts and restaurants....More

The stated price 1500 kwanzas is for taxi just from Airport to boat docking area. But the boat charging price was 2000 kwanzas. Not expensive in relation to Angolan Prices.
