The Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls is as impressive as the Zambian side, but the great thing here is that you get much closer to the canyons and even in dry season, you can see the waterfalls full of water. It's kind of creepy approaching the edge of the canyon (yes, there's no fence to avoid accidents!!!), but makes you... More

Victoria Falls definitely reflects in African name "Mosi-oa-Tunya" - the Smoke that Thunders. Even in the dry season, which is when I visited, the Falls are amazingly beautiful.

You can't come to Victoria Falls without visiting the Falls themselves. Terrific hiking path around the Falls, photo ops galore plus wildlife and beautiful flora. We were there during dry season, so the Falls weren't as productive, but less spray/mist means better photos. Don't forget to start your hike with a salute to David Livingstone.

Spent 4 hours walking along the well appointed path. Excellent demarcated viewing points. Was hot as hell so take lots of drinking water. Beware of the monkeys they are aggressive and can smell fruit / food in your bags.

Level path all around the top of falls. Usually cool as most in rainforest with hornbills, monkeys, springbok and baboons galore. Incredible vistas. Amazing to see the devil's hole with people swimming across the canyon. Even more so to see men fishing mere feet from a torrent of water exploding over the falls. Astonishing glory of God.

we visit the falls in October, meaning dry season, and to my oppinion this was a good choice at the end. You may not see the full range of the falls, some parts towards the end are dry, but there is not so much mist, the atmosphere is clear, you can walk arround the park easily without any discomfort, and... Bryan (‪+260 97 8603336‬) was our driver from the hotel in Zambia to the bridge you need to cross to see Victoria Falls from Zimbawe. He waited for us and also he took us there for bunger jumping. Great driver. Please call or WhatsApp him to get his service.

We visited in the dry season - which we were told is a good time as you can then actually see the water tumbling over the cliffs. Apparently in the wet season the mist (the smoke that roars) is so intense that you get wet and can't see much other than mist. Certainly there was a lot of water even... More
