We were told by some that if you'd seen Iguazu in Argentina you'd be disappointed by Vic Falls, however; that was not how we felt. Each of the large waterfalls is unique and wonderful. What we loved about Vic Falls was how uncommercial it was...More

Fantastic views of the Falls. Easygoing walking. Tours or going on your own. Taxi drivers are helpful with pickup and returning. Go during dry season for best video.

Be prepared for a long walk from start to finish. You only get to see upper part of fall. The lower part is all covered in smoke so you never see the depth/ total height. Point 10 (if I remember correctly) was the best where...More

The actual Victoria Falls waterfall was nothing short of spectacular! (September 2017), despite not being in full flow at the beginning of Spring. Just do it! 😁

Ticked off another must see. The falls are just stunning. I have seen higher but the sheer volume of water even in low flow has to be seen to be believed. While it would be amazing to see in full flow you would get very...More

We visited the national parks in both Zambia and Zimbabwe. At this time of year when the water flow is at its lowest I strongly recommend the Zimbabwe side. The falls are still amazing and even perhaps better at this time of year as the...More

Loved it! The waterfall is beautiful and amazing even when water is running low. Take your time and if you manage to be around during full moon, go for the lunar rainbow!
