Shockwave Victoria Falls - Whitewater Rafting (Zimbabwe) is specialized in adventurous and non adventurous type activities such as white water rafting, safaris tours, kayaking, river boarding, overnights or multiday rafting trips, canoeing , sunset cruises on the Zambezi river and various packages to Victoria falls. Team Shockwave Crowed the 2012/13 Zambezi River Champions. 2015 Certificate Of Excellence By Trip Advisor .Finally we have the most experienced staff on this industry including the owner Philani (MD) Moyo who has been in this tourism business since 1994 with his team do guiding overseas every year when its off season in Zimbabwe to countries like USA Colorado River, Norway, Australia, Italy. Peru and South Africa, just to mention a few. We also have guides that speak multiple languages like Italian and Spanish which make it easy for the guest to feel at home all the time during their holiday. Due to our international contacts and guides interchange program we consider Shockwave as part of an international network of professional rafting companies around the world.At Shockwave safety comes first thus why every trip is escorted by an experienced Safety Kayaker whose job is to pick you up when you go for voluntary or non voluntary swim.

White Water Rafting

Everything was perfect and we will keep doing white water rafting after this experience. The guides are helpful inside and outside the boat. If you are going to Victoria Fall you must book one day white water rafting with Shockwave Adventures.

The Absolute Best with Zimbabwe's White Water Rafting Team

We were a group of 50, and had a total of 6 boats. Philani (MD), OG, TB and the rest of the crew were truly outstanding! Every step of the way from registering to rafting to the final meal were seamless. Compared to our other friends who took a different tour operator, our boats didn't flip at all (unless we wanted to because some of the parts were safe and fun!).

I wouldn't go with any other operator. The entire team is part of the Zimbabwe White Water Rafting team and their leader, MD is a tremendous person on the water. All of them worked so hard to ensure that we had fun, worked only as much as we wanted, and stayed safe. Again, unlike my other friends who fell into the water numerous times (with 1 almost drowning), we felt safe and had a blast the entire time.

While the trip was quite long and exhausting, the experience was totally worth it!

Philani & Shockwave Adventures' Excellence Saved me thousands

After reading TA's Shockwave reviews, I called Shockwave to book a Zambezi rafting trip. Philani answered my questions and booked the raft trip. Philani then asked what else we were planning to do while in the area. I told him that I had reviewed several tour companies' web sites and liked the X,Y,Z 10-day itinery from one of them. He suggested I send him the itinerary. I did. He responded with an offer to set up the entire 10 days of events just as they were in the brochure: rafting the Zambezi, river boarding the Zambezi, elephant riding, horseback riding, train ride, Hwange National Park, Chobe National Park, and the hotels. Philani even arranged transport between adventures. (The Hide at Hwange was extremely beyond superb and included two safari's per day and one safari per night. Chobe's incredible river safaris were filled with animals of all along the river.)
Philani arranged it all. With our family group of 6 people, I saved nearly $15,000 over the very well known company's "guided tour price" on the web. Moreover, Philani and his crew were excellent. When he handed us off to other vendorsthey too were excellent.

We did a five day rafting on the might Zambezi with Shockwave.The Guides were amazing. The river just kept giving, thus raging torrents of whitewater on the first day, slowly decreasing in speed and gradient to availing hippos and crocs on day five. A trip I think all adventurous should attempt with Shockwave. Thanx a million times Shockwave.

A must experience for everyone

As a couple we had been traveling for 40 days and had done over 8000 km of driving from Gaborone to Cape Town to Victoria Falls via Namibia, this is not our first visit to the Vic Falls, my wife had been on the rafting some 15 years previous, It was now my turn to take on the mighty Zambezi, both my wife and I had an exciting action packed day, it was worth every minute. It is an experience to cherish. The Shockwave team was first class, we started under the bridge close to the falls and finished at rapid 19, we were offered to jump out the raft on a safe stretch of the river and just float down with the stream lying on our backs with our feet out in front of us, this was one of the highlights, the scenery is spectacular.

Amazing Thrills

An amazing experience from being picked up from our door step. The stuff are not only professional but they are friendly and very welcoming. It felt like we were a few friends out on an adventure no strangers. Their safety brief made me feel very safe and relaxed. Whitewater rafting is a whole vibe of experiences which included hiking down the gorge, the rafting, the hike up the gorge and the all time favorite lunch at the top of the gorge, all of which where just amazing all the way.....extreme but amazing. I am definitely doing this again and I have already started recommending Shockwave to all my friends and family.

Very fun, safe, and memorable rafting trip

White water rafting with this group was fantastic. The team gave awesome instructions, let our group have a lot of fun, and made us all feel safe as we navigated the river. Tabs was funny and kind as a guide and always gave us clear direction on where we needed to go. Would highly recommend not only rafting the Zambezi but doing it with this group!

Exiting life time experience

After 25 years coming back to Victoria Falls I wanted to share the rafting experience with my wife and children. The Shockwave Team gave us an unbelievable day with white water rafting, helicopter tour, swing and visiting the falls. The following day we visited the edge of the falls. Laying in the water looking over the edge down is like rafting a must do. The shockwave team is very experience , has great positive energy and makes you day a life time experience!

Memorys for a lifetime

From the day of booking to departure, Shockwave Adventures did an outstanding job. Philani the owner and first point of contact was always courteous and helpful. Right from the start, they give me a feeling of security and competence. A package has been put together with so many unforgettable activities that I will remember them for a lifetime. Benko, a competent employee of the company, was put at my side, she always had an answer to all my questions and was able to solve any problem immediately. Her punctuality and the speed with which she made appointments were decisive for my perfect vacation. I was led into a culture that was previously foreign and diverse to me, the breathtaking nature of the Victoria Waterfalls will not let you go. Thanks to Shockwave, I was able to experience firsthand what I only knew through films before. I would particularly like to highlight the wild water rafting, which lets you feel the power and beauty of the waterfalls. The God Swing followed by a visit to the Lookout restaurant, with its beautiful view that cast a spell over me for hours. The bungee jump that makes the heart beat faster with every adrenaline junkie. Swimming in the most dangerous pool in the world, the Devils Pool. The lion and cheetah walk in Zambia and the dive in the crocodile tank with subsequent feeding. Many thanks to Benko, Philani and the whole Shockwave team, you created unforgettable moments for me, I only wish you the best for the future and hopefully we see us again someday.

Fantastic rafting experience!

We had a brilliant day rafting with Shockwave. Tabs was an excellent guide who was very safety conscious but also loads of fun and he was supported by a great team. I would highly recommend using shockwave for your zambezi rafting experience.
