From the moment we were picked up - very much on time - it was all so well organised, plenty of cold bottles of water available, easy crossing into Botswana, having first checked everyone had the correct visa, then onto Chobe lodge to board the boat, which lasted about 3 hours - soft drinks, beers and cookies served on the boat . We saw crocodiles, hippo, eagles, Malibu stocks, and more elephants than I have ever seen anywhere else. The boat captain was very knowledgable and keen to make sure we got as close as possible to everything - including the 2 day old baby elephant. After a very nice lunch we boarded the jeep for our afternoon game drive and our driver David was amazing. He enabled me to get the most amazing shots of the leopard and lions. People need to remember this is not a zoo with animals appearing to order, it’s just luck and the expertises of the driver. We saw vultures, giraffes, more elephants, lions, wart hogs, water buffalo, hippos, crocodile, more elephants, monkeys, baboons, eagles- we could not have asked for more. Truly memorable
