Great experience with AfriVenture
We are just back from a two months trip through Namibia.
We started organising the trip only late summer and it was impossible to find a car with roof tent at a decent price through a travel agency in Europe.
Sanja from AfriVenture very quickly found us a fantastice Ford Ranger.
Sanja also gave us very competent advices with regards to vaccins and malaria protection.
As we had plenty of time we booked the campsites day by day ourselves, but whenever we had any difficulty in finding something, Sanja took care of it, even during the weekends.
It was of great comfort to us knowing that we had someone to rely on in case of any difficulty.
Whenever we go back to Africa, we will certainly go with Sanja and Afriventure.

Me and my three friends wanted to do a three week tour of Namibia and Zimbabwe. We had previously researched what points our itinerary should include and then contacted Afriventure for a detailed planning of the trip.
Afriventure was directly accessible, very cordial and responded to our every wish. The tour that was planned for us included all the points of interest that we had requested. We received in advance all the documentation for the various campsites, lodges and apartments, which were always very authentic and beautiful and yet inexpensive. We received additional information about what would be important for the trip, starting with luggage, how much money needs to be changed for what and information about visas, vaccinations and road conditions. We were traveling in a car with two tents on the roof, so we were very grateful for every tip, as we had never traveled in these countries on our own before.
The trip was really wonderful and we saw so many different landscapes and animals and were able to have unique experiences. Everything worked out perfectly and we had a really wonderful and eventful vacation.
Thank you Afriventure for the great tour. We will definitely book our next vacation with you again.

Honestly I couldn't have ask for anything better! Our guide Richard was very knowledgeable about all the animals and their routines as well as about plants and other topics relating to Tansania. Thanks to him we were able to spot all the animals we wanted including the exclusive black Rhino. He was able to spot them out of nowhere and knew the perfect time and place to get to see them close. He was always suprising us and had such an excellent sight even while driving.
The food was also excellent. We were never disappointed. Also after a long Safari we were always received with delicious food. We felt very welcoming at all four Tortilis camp (Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire). The staff was always there for you and very friendly. Make sure to take enough warm clothes at the Tortilis camp in Ngorongoro as it can get really cold down there.
If you are like us, and have never gone on a Safari before Afriventure will take so good care of you. Take the leap and you won't regeret! Big thanks again to Sanja, Richard and all the staff from Afriventure. We will definitely book again with Afriventure for our next Safari trip!

Many thanks for your words! Richard is a great asset and I'm glad you enjoyed your trip through the Wonders of Tanzania with him. And yes ... the Ngorongoro can get cold! We had amongst the coldest nights of our lives that side, and this is coming from a Swiss ;)

Our recent trip to Tanzania was nothing short of exceptional thanks to AfriVenture, with a great mix of adventure, safaris as well as a few relaxing days on the heavenly beaches of Zanzibar.
As soon as we arrived in Arusha, we were greeted by our guide – Richard – who took care of us throughout our trip. His expertise and passion for the local flora and fauna added a special dimension to our safaris. Every day we discovered new wonders of nature and breathtaking landscapes. The night under the stars, in our comfortable tents, was an adventure in itself.
We were hesitant at first about sleeping in a tent but Sanja reassured us that it was more “glamping” than anything else. This experience allowed us to live as close as possible to nature, to hear the sounds of the savannah and to wake up in the heart of the African bush with elephants outside our door every morning! An unforgettable experience.
Then we spent a few days in Zanzibar, an ideal setting to recharge your batteries and relax with its white sand beaches and turquoise waters.
AfriVenture not only organized an amazing trip but also ensured that every detail was taken care of. Their exceptional service helped make this trip memorable. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants the adventure of a lifetime!

Many thanks for the great safari. We spent 5 days in Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongo and had a great time. Our guide Evarest Mboya was a great companion on this trip, showing us around in the parks with a lot of attention, patience and flexibility. He managed to show us a lot of animals and to move around spots that were too crowded. And most importantly he drove very safely.
Also a big thanks to Sanja who organized the trip and was very helpful in deciding how to approach the itinerary, offering multiple options depending on time and budget available. I can highly recommend Afriventure and their local partners in Tanzania!

My boyfriend and I contacted AfriVenture through their Instagram for a trip to South Africa. It was nothing short of extraordinary with a combination of adventure and luxury, the truth is that it has been one of the best trips of my life.
Starting in Cape Town, AfriVenture's itinerary allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the city's vibrant culture and beautiful landscapes. The days were packed with visits to the city's landmarks, from historic Robben Island to the stunning views from the top of Table Mountain and Lions Head.
Moving along the Garden Route, we went on a journey through forests, coastal cliffs and pristine beaches. Every bend in the road revealed new wonders, from the magnificent Knysna Heads to the incredible scenery of Tsitsikamma National Park. AfriVenture had carefully selected each stop to capture the essence of this remarkable region, giving us flexibility to stop wherever we wanted while driving on our own.
We left our car in George and then flew to Kruger National Park, our final destination, which was a highlight! It was our first time on a safari that brought us face to face with the Big Five. The thrill of seeing a leopard or a herd of elephants in their natural habitat was an experience that can hardly be expressed in words.
What made this adventure even more remarkable was the luxurious accommodation that AfriVenture chose for us at each destination, they really pampered us.
This South African adventure was a dream come true thanks to AfriVenture's organization and local knowledge. For us, it was the perfect combination of adventure, outdoor experiences, relaxation and comfort. I will always cherish the memories and hope to return very soon!

AfriVenture is able to go the extra mile to fit customer needs. Level of customization was perfect and their knowledge of South Africa is really impressive. If you want a trip with best recommendations of places to stay in or to eat, you can trust Sanja as she lived a very long time in South Africa. On top she is able to give you access to lodges that are not the ones usually advertised on internet for lodges and are more confidential yet excellent. During the trip they are always available to answer any questions. Looking forward to future safaris in other countries.

Just back from a marvelous trip to South Africa, I can but recommend the services of Sanja and Afriventure. Sanja prepared a customised trip for us that went beyond our expectations. The hotels and lodges she found for us were of excellent quality and all had a personal and original touch to them. She provided many useful tips of itineraries, wineries, restaurants and places to visit day by day and we really enjoyed her recommendations. During our trip, we contacted her several times with questions and she was always quick to react and provide adequate answers. Thanks to Sanja and Afriventure, we had a fantastic time and were able to relax and enjoy, knowing that everything was taken care for us. Thank you very much Afriventure for doing such a great job! Afriventure helped us organize a 2-week 3-generation family trip to South Africa and everything went beyond our expectations. From the choice of hotels, to the itinerary, to the valuable advice given by Sanja throughout our trip, we had an extraordinary experience. Sanja was able to understand our expectations and adapt all the steps as best as possible to take into account the fact that we were traveling with very young children and she was incredibly available during these 2 weeks. We only have one wish: to return to Africa as quickly as possible with Afriventure!

We booked our honeymoon through AfriVenture and had a wonderful time. The itinerary, lodges, organisation and suggestions were perfect. We had an unbelievable time in Botswana and Zim. Plus the honeymoon "surprises" were so thoughtful and tasteful! They were quick to reply to any queries and the whole experience was smooth and amazing! I would highly recommend AfriVenture any time :)
