It was a very good, very informative experience. Trevor taught us a lot about the city and nature, he is a very pleasant and very professional guide. He knew how to share with us his love for nature and his village. The segway visit allows you to take your time and make a really interesting and quiet visit. Do not hesitate to plan this pleasant activity.

The tour of Livingstone Island and Angel’s Pool is one of the most amazing things I have ever done. The local guides who take you on the Zambezi to the Island and then onto Angel’s Pool are brilliant and take lots of photos and videos for you when you are there which allows you to naturally enjoy your time whilst having something memorable to look back on. Even the breakfast after the trip was amazing. The one downside is that upon booking I had asked and received specific confirmation that I would be picked up from my hotel to take me to the check-in point where the speedboat departs from. The evening before the day I was scheduled to go on the trip I received an email from Tamuka advising that I would need to make my own way there. The email was quite ambiguous and I was unsure what exactly they meant so I emailed back. I am writing this review 6 days after I went on the trip and I am still waiting for a reply. I ended up booking a last minute taxi to get to the check-in point and am grateful I did as otherwise I would of missed out of this incredible trip having paid money and done all I could to clarify what was to happen logistically. For those who haven’t been to Zambia before, taxis are expensive!!!

Hi CDL1990. Thank you for having chosen Tamuka Travel. We are very sorry for the inconvenience you faced. We wrote you an email a day before advising you to directly go to the devil's pool as it is near to where you were staying but unfortunately the email might not have reached you on time. After we saw your email requesting for pickup, we sent our driver to pick you but he was advised that you had already left. We greatly apologize for the miscommunication and for the inconvenience caused. Kind Regards Tamuka Travel

The Devil's Pool is a naturally formed/carved small basin with an fairly calm eddy of water right in between all the rushing waterfalls at Victoria Falls. It is an adrenaline rush to lay across the rock shelf at the edge and look straight down the falls. PLUS: Really exciting; great photo opp; guides dedicated to keeping everyone safe. MINUS: The afternoon "tea party" afterwards could have been skipped. Doesn't really add to the experience. A simple beer or soda at the end would have been fine, without a sitdown experience for 45 minutes or so. Not an activity for those without decent swimming skills (there is moderate swimming required for a stretch, and you need to follow the guide's directions of exactly where to swim to avoid being swept off in the stronger currents that run nearby - but it is safe). Not recommended for the elderly. Also: do not go barefoot because of the rock section you will walk across in reaching the swimming areas: wear watwerproof sandals (not flipflops, something secured to your feet with straps, as there are sections you will be swimming).

All the arrangements were perfect. Picked up and taken across the border to Zimbabwe on time. Simon was a great guide and very knowledgeable. Victoria Falls was awesome and the Rainforest was lovely with plants birds and animals. The butterflies were very pretty. Excellent lunch with great view of the bridge and gorge. Markets and cultural tour interesting in how people live day to day. High Tea at Visctoria Falls Hotel not to be missed, absolutely wonderful end to the day. I would highly recommend this tour.
