The little plaza and the gate are really a beautiful place to visit and worthy place to start your discoveru of the medina. The jet fountain is also a nice addition to the ensemble.

This is the perfect place to sit and people watch everyone coming in to and leaving the Medina. Beautiful also in the early morning watching people walk to the mosque. People feeding pigeons. Very exotic. I shot "a million" photos from here.

It's really just a small arc in a square. The surrounding area was dirty and the water coming out of the fountain was brown. In comparison to other places nothing special. In terms of things to see in Tunis probably stands out. Worth a picture...More

Unfortunately, this place which was a gem in tunis is now a garbage place, dirty with graffitis and crowded. All you hear is car honking. Get a post card instead.

it a historical Gate, it's the beginning of the old souks that lead to Zitouna Mosque, and on the opposite direction the beginning of the main avenue . U must take some photos there
