To see where Star Wars was shot and where Luke Skywalker lived. I was there a few years back though. Even if you pretty much seen it all in 30 minutes it is still pretty cool.

Never seen film so not a fan but it is worth the visit for the inquisitive traveler. The set is wonderful too see at sunset the kids and the fox are a somewhat depressing sight. Tozeur is a beautiful oasis city worth a couple of days detour from the coast

This is really in the middle of no where so be sure to have enough petrol and phones don't always work and no café around when you get there... Maybe that's why people go with the tour bus 🤔 Which we didn't do! But was amazing to see.

Of all the Star Wars locations in Tunisia, this one is the best preserved, you really feel like you're walking around Mos Espa! Shame about the tourist hassle though... three boys were here, bringing "tame" desert fox cubs and lizards over for us to take photos, and when we didn't want any, just plain begging us for money to go... For any Star Wars fan, regardless of your opinion of Episode I or the prequel trilogy, visiting the set of Mos Espa in the Tunisian desert was an amazing experience. The state of the set is remarkably good for its age and the conditions, and it's really cool to wander through the various buildings and examine the craftsmanship from both... More

I was here during a pageant internship, Miss Portugal 2015. After a memorable rally in the sand, visiting this place when I am a Star Wars fan was just a moment I will never forget. The place and its surroundings are amazing, you can watch the sunset from the spot and believe me, watching the sunset in the Sahara desert... More

Ok it was used as a set when filming Star Wars but there's not a lot to see, I only seen it because it was part of a tour. You do go down into the stigmata people's houses that are under the ground

I was on a Tunisian country tour and this place was included. It is very far away from the touristic places like Monastir, Hammamet, Sousse and it's advisable to stop for the night somewhere near/in Douze. We arrived here by Jeep tour along other sites in the wild desert. For a few hours I felt like being part of Star... More
