Conmmon area dosent have fan so hot during day
U are expected to eat in heat around you
Hot air-condition in one room but also not very cold in the other when told the management they
Said we didnt list air conditioner in the booking! Really is that a reason why its in the room and not functioning well..
Be alert there is no DVDs as claimed nor TV
Toilet door dosent close when closed never open unless u got a partner to push it hard from outside in to open it!! Dodgy isn’t?
I got locked in many times for long
House keeping u need to bag them to clean and change towels
Or they will clean and take towels never replace them!!
The management dosent care enough!
They offered another room however the other room have same issues, even hotter
Another stupid thing is there is no mini fridge at the room,
So u are forced to buy cold water or you dehydrate

Waitress not so friendly not sure why!!
We ordered white rice for the children on one night waited for 2 hrs they totally ignored us maybe ricesiam or else why the food were served serounding us for that whole time?!

Also the wifi password was a night mare !
The manager lady will have to be the one who type it at ur device and change it daily ! Then you must ho back and find her for it and so on !
In addition she will keep saying wifi is slow and its out of their hand however i can see her streaming online and freely using it for videos, musics etc and its fast enough so yes they applyed data limit to be on social texting only as i see for the guest only !
The only good thing is ABDULLA the tour guide, he will make ur day with anything u want to do .
U may questioned why i remaind patience not to leave because I couldn’t find a accomedation fit us during the xmas it was late to change .
ان فكرت تحجز ابتعد عن هالمكان ولو يكون اخر فندق خلك بعييييد جدا ولا تفكر اتي هني
وان ييت الله يعينك ماقدر اقول اكثر عن جي!

We recently spent a few wonderful days at Menai Beach Bungalows. The setting is beautiful looking out across Menai Bay, with mangrove swamps on one side and villages on the other - a chance to watch everyday life.
We went on a day trip on a local dhow to a beautiful island in the bay, where the white sand surrounding the island becomes exposed as the tide goes out. We enjoyed swimming and snorkling here. We were then treated to a feast of fresh seafood for lunch - the best we had tasted on Zanzibar !
But most of all we would like to compliment the wonderful staff working at Menai Bay - they were friendly and attentive, made us feel very welcome and helped with any queries we had - thank you !. Our only reservation was that the food was a bit pricey.
