Amazing Place!

Never seen such diverse wildlife before. It was an amazing experience, watching the animals from such a close proximity in their natural environment. Must visit!

It was the idea of visiting the Serengeti and hiking Kilimanjaro that enticed me to visit Tanzania. I have to say that the park lived up to all of my expectations. The park is huge. You feel like you can drive for days and still never see it all. I was there 4 days and spent many hours driving around... More

If you only have time for one place to go on Safari, this is the park for you. We saw all big 5 and then about 100 more!!!!!! Definately visit during the drier months as the roads can become very slippy when it rains. It's also better viewing conditions when the roof is up. We only had rain for 30... More

Seronera is well known as the center of the Serengeti. We (4x4 self-drive couple) spent 3 nights on the public camping site at Seronera. You will find several puplic camping sites, the best one for us was the one for trucks and 4x4 with rooftop tent. The washroom facilities were clean and water was available and not crowded. At the... I have the impression of being one of the best parts of Serengeti since we got to see so many animals in little time while we got to our Tent Camp.

Best place to see wondrous array of wild animals in their home.we saw numerous prides of lions, had an elephant herd of 30+ pacaderms stroll past us, a cheetah kept pace with us wandering around, a leopard came down the creek and sat in front of our keep contemplating a kill.

This is the best park for a real African safari! Leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, elephants, lions, giraffes, hyenas, cape buffalo, etc. It doesn't get any better!

The Seronera area of the Serengeti National Park is full of wildlife and people. It also has a town with a gas station, homes for the workers, a visitor center and ranger station. There are lots of lions, hyenas and other animals but unfortunately there are a lot of people and vehicles. If you want to see wildlife while sitting... More

I have been to several safari parks and even though the Serengeti is indeed magnificent I left feeling completely underwhelmed by my experience. For sure you are guaranteed to see lions etc this is because the drivers of the Jeep's communicate by radio which means you have dozens of rangers and guides searching for animals. The result is a mass... More
