I cannot thank the company I chose enough. Kilisa Tours really were fully prepared and determined to take me to summit. It was tough, but with all the support I received from Andrew, Joe, Naick and others, it really made me feel at ease and gave me the confidence to do this route is incredibly short time. Even the transfers... More

I didn't climb but I went around it from all directions inside the Tanzanian border and it was magnificent. There's just a very narrow timeline to see it, usually early in the morning before the cloud form over the peek...

6 days machame route climbing If Marangu is the “Coca Cola” route, then the Machame Route is the “Whiskey” route. It is the second most popular and one of the most scenic routes on the mountain. All climbers sleep in tents (tents are included) and meals are served in a dinner tent or on a blanket outside. It is done... More

Our Team Kilimanjaro experience was a brilliant 10 out of 10. Our head guide, John Naiman, and his assistant guide, Guido Massawe, were extremely knowledgable and helpful in every way. I've never camped, so much as hiked at high altitude, and they made sure we successfully made it to the summit before safely coming back down. Our team of porters... More

We had an amazing climb of Mount Kilimanjaro following the Lemosho Route In early January this year. Our group of four aged 21 to 62 all made it to the top in 6 days instead of seven as we were acclimatising and walking ahead of schedule. The successful climb wouldn't have been possible without the help of guides and porters provided by... Climbed the Kilimanjaro with National Geographic Adventures, did the Lemosho route with the western breach. They were extremely well prepared and organized. Very professional group. Safety, food quality, support staff, all was excellent. The views are just out of this world and the experience seems unreal. Be ready to get mountain sickness: a lot of people underestimate this aspect of... More
