I had a great time for a whole week visiting the Milimani City Mall for some nice Vanilla Chocolate Milk Shake and at times also food. I enjoyed the long walks inside the mall (It's quite long) just looking at the various services and products being offered. It hosts various outlets from supermarkets i.e. Choppies, to Restaurants and Fast Food Joint, Fashion Stores, Electronic Shops e.t.c. I would recommend the Mall for anyone within Dar city and in proximity to Mwenge area.

We went there yesterday, arrived at 7.15 PM, because on the website they mention: " Open until 23.00" . We were in our second shop where they said that the shop would close at 8.00 PM. Then it got clear all the shops close at 8.00 PM. So we haven't seen a lot.

The Mlimani City Mall was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The mall felt very western. It is fun to see Tanzania growing and developing so nicely.

Limited number of shops, poorly stocked grocery store. Not worth a visit unless you absolutely have to.

If you have been on a mall in Asia or anywhere else you will be really disapointed.
Still it is the biggest mall in town as they say.
Only one floor, very few shops but still that the best you can get.
Changers money, banks, few shop for beauty, few shop for clothes, one poor grocery store, one KFC.
Can seriously be avoided

A Western style shopping mall.
One of the places where they accept American Express.

Unfortunately in a distant suburb, frequently jammed. Reckon one hour driving.

All modern shops:
I purchased electric shaver, trousers, shirts, t-shirts. Not more expensive, not cheaper than in town. Huge choice.

The fast food close to the right entrante (when look in from the carpark) is nice, cheap and super clean.

The supermarket offers anything you need or wish, including (what is rare) an extensive deep frozen food section.

In spite of time to drive there, a time saving option bcs you find everything in one place.

This mall is a nice mid sized mall that has places to eat and good for air conditioning on a hot day.

Dar Es salaam is the business city this is the only biggest mall in the city, but the point to remember this is the third world country to some extent can disappoint people who have traveled around the world and saw big malls like in Dubai, anyway all the Tanzania giants financial institutions (Banks) are there and you can get the service even on weekend while other branches are closed.

The mall has a lot of restaurants, fashion stores, movie theatre, Electronic shops, supermarkets, playground for kids, a conference center, gym. I exchanged USD currency at NMB bank then I did the shopping for my son. All the shops entered I received good customer service.

The place can be reachable easily by many different means of transport like daladala, bajaj or uber, the construction is still going on so you might hear noises from different places of the premises.

The parking for visitors is available and the security is guaranteed but you have to pay after 30 minutes Tsh 1000 per hour but when you spend below 30 minutes will not be charged for parking.

The largest mall in Dar es Salaam Mwenge area. Where you’ll find shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. There’s a famous bar/restaurant called Samaki Samaki as well which also shows live football games. Plenty of parking space, which you pay for. I would recommend this place a must visit day or might.
