This elegant square is a perfect place to feel the city life of Tangier. Also a good meeting place near the Médina. Best views from the terrace opposite the Médina entrance.

best was the hop on hop off bus access to see the other parts of Tangier....nothing wrong with this spot that a lot of cleaning up wouldn't fix....fun to walk around the outside of the medina walls from here...small food markets and different shops.

Great place to hang out, chill out and mingle. If you re tired to sit on the square get a seat in the tea place uphill !!. There is a flea market behind the building uphill

We ate there twice - several restaurants, and the famous cinema has a deco cafe. Enjoyed watching & listening to the traffice from 5pm onwards - chaos!

The Grand Socco COULD BE a delightful experience. After all, you are in a rather exotic place surrounded by exotic things, and the winding streets and enormous variety of shops and goods is intriguing. HOWEVER, it is impossible to enjoy it due to all of...More

After emerging from the maze of the Medina it is peacefull to sit here in the park or choose from the many cafeterias around it. The mosque has a pink minaret, a small Souk Babouches, slipper market is just beside it. Buying without a hassle...More

The center of the town is nice, but not much to do. You can see everything in less than 2 hours. Be careful of pickpockets.
