The largest museum in Tangier. Nice to see, even if the Kasbah is quite simple compared to other palaces you can find in Morocco. Not expensive and good museum.

It was hard to find the museum even though it was my second visit. I didn't want to get my phone out to check the map and I didn't want a local to force me to take a tour and then feel pressure to pay.

We passed this on our guided walk and returned the next day. The museum is a former palace with a mixture of small exhibits spanning the history of Tangier. There is an English brochure/ map but that is where the English information ends. That being...More

A little gem in the heart of the Kasbah, which aims to bring local history closer to the visitor. Has a huge variety of archeological artifacts from the surrounding areas, which really brings home the historical importance of Tangiers and the surrounding area. Well worth...More

This is probably the most well-known attraction in the city, aside from exploring the medinas. It's not too hard to find, there are signs around that say "Kasbah" pointing you in the right direction, although I do recommend at least downloading the offline Google maps...More

This was a very lovely& interesting museum & I only wish there had been information in English. As with much of Morocco, all infor is given in French & Moroccan Arabic so we remain in the dark!

Part of our private tour which took us around Tangier. We didn't go into the museum but the outside was interesting and our guide provided information.

As i remember, it close at 1800. And sometimes they might close earlier than 1800. i would suggest you to arrive there before 1700.
