We booked Moghit from the wonderful and positive reviews on trip advisor and we weren’t disappointed. As many reviewers have said, Moghit arranges for your ferry tickets and explains the process involved once you are on the ferry. He was at the port upon our arrival and introduced us to our very skillful driver, Omar. Having a driver allowed Moghit to focus on the surroundings as he shared facts, dates, history and stories regarding the city of Tangier. Moghit loves his city and as he speaks his love and respect for Tangier and the people who call this city home is evident. He thoughtfully answered all our questions with insight and honesty. We visited the many places other reviewers mentioned, but for us the highlight was walking through the neighbourhoods seeing the daily life of the people of Tangier. Moghit knew many people and invited us to interact with them in a jovial manner. We are so grateful that we left Tangier with a better understanding of the history and culture of this city and those who have lived here from present to past. Moghit shared part of himself with us and for that we will never forget our time spent with him and all that we learned and experienced. If thinking of visiting Tangier, we would ABSOLUTELY recommend Moghit as your guide.

Moghit was a pleasure to work with prior to our trip and he was very easy to communicate with via email. He arranged our ferry tickets which we picked up in Tarifa without any issues. He took us all around the city and environs with his very capable driver Omar. I am vegetarian and he arranged for a lovely meal at a very nice restaurant in the Casbah. We let him know that we were interested in purchasing a rug and he took us to a very nice bazaar with an amazing variety of rugs and other high end antiques. Due to the wind, our ferry back to Spain was cancelled and he rebooked us for another ferry at Tanger-med and drove us all the way there. He really was very interesting and thoughtful and he provided us and our two young children with wonderful memories of our day in Tangier.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) had a wonderful time with Moghit. We had some things in mind (riding a camel for the kids, shopping for a rug, eating Moroccan pastries, and visiting the city), and then Moghit provided a wonderful history of the city with many other things to see. He was very kind and interesting, knowledgeable and helpful (our ferry was cancelled twice due to high wind but he found a way of getting us back from another port- so helpful!!). We felt safe walking around the town where Moghit knew everyone’s name. We all loved our day trip to Tangier and hope to return soon! Choucran!

I found Moghit on trip advisor and reached out and he was very communicative. We had some adjustments to out group size and he handled it all well. In the end it turned out to be 8 of us, and he kept everyone in sight and made sure we were all keeping up through out the day. I had indicated that I like cooking and would like to buy some spices. He tapped into our interest and not only tailored the tour to take us to a herb shop but also walked us through the local food market and dried fruit market so we can get a taste of how the locals from the Medina shop. It was a great addition for us. He also took us to the bazaar for shopping however he saw that we were not in the line for the goods they had. We recieved no pressure from him or the shop owners at the bazaar to buy. They were all friendly and of course tried to sell but did not pressure us. One of the highlights was the multi course lunch. The food was delicious and we had an opportunity to relax and enjoy authentic Moroccan food. By the time we finished lunch it was getting quite late but we were able to stop into a shop next door to quickly get some souvenirs. Then Moghit escorted us back to the ferry to make sure we had no issues. We did get bugged by some street vendors as we were walking but I know it would've been worse if we were not with Mohit. He is well known and a few times he called a vendor by name and asked them to stop. I highly recommend booking a tour with him. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant. He even gave me a gift at the end of the tour which I thought was such a nice thing for him to do. Do yourself a favor and book a tour with Moghit.
