Said arranged a fantastic tour for our extended family of 12, ages 10-73. I initiated my contact with Said via email and finalized all arrangements by phone/text. Said met us as we disembarked the ferry in Tangiers and expedited our customs experience entering the city and again on our departure. He escorted us to our tour bus which was very comfortable and modern. Mr. Mohammed then rode with us and escorted us for a tour of the area. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the area and the sites we visited and worked to make all of our experiences fantastic. Highlights were a donkey ride while overlooking the area where the Med and the Atlantic meet, Camel rides for the entire group, the cave of Hercules, a walking tour of the old city as we "rocked the casbah", a very enjoyable local meal with musicians and a visit from a snake charmer, and then escort through the an area of the market and several shops. I would not hesitate to book this tour with Said tours and recommend this as a wonderful day trip to get a great taste of the highlights of the area. The hospitality and the knowledge presented on the tour were superb, and all of us were very glad we made the trip. We were a very mixed group and felt safe and well cared for the entire tour. Said followed through on all of the specifics he promised and helped make sure our tour went smoothly from arrival to departure. A group of 12-15 is a great size for this tour because it allows you to ensure that your group is guaranteed an essentially private tour. Smaller groups may work out the same but possibly could mix with other smaller groups. A smaller group would certainly be nice for this and might possibly get even more personalized attention, if that is possible. All activities, outside of material purchases, were included in the price. The providers were independent and to be paid by those that brought guests to use their services. Morocco is very hot in the summer I believe they provided some water, but there are occasionally opportunities to purchase drinks if you were to need to. I would verify with Said before I went to the ferry to determine what you might wish to bring vs what is provided. Sunscreen is advisable as well. Thank you Said and Mohammed for a Great Day and one of the superb highlights of our trip! Note that I intended to write this review at an earlier date upon our return but life is busy. Our tour date was on June 24, 2019, but I was too late for TripAdvisor to allow me to enter that in the details as the date of our experience for the review.

I would highly recommend!!! It was the highlight of our trip, you will not regret booking with Said Tours. We were hesitant and we want everyone to know this is the only way to go! Trustworthy, makes the day so easy and we saw more than we would have on our own, private taxi through the area with guide, stopped at public park, rode camels on the beach, cave tour (inside knowledge and history). The locals have an open market 2 days a week (ask about what days?), we happened to go on this day, this was truly a back door experience. Our guide brought us through areas we would have never gone, wonderful authentic lunch and took us places with our interest. This by far is the best tour ever and was first class the whole time. You will be taken care of every step. The price included everything, no hidden fees, Enjoy a stress free day with Said Tours.

Everything about the day was great. Said met us at the dock as we disembarked in Tangier, got us quickly to our driver and guide. Our guide, Mohammod, was excellent. Very friendly and very knowledgeable about Morocco and its culture. Lunch was great in a lovely restaurant with a lovely view. The Casbah, Medina and Hercules’ cave were highlights. Said met us again at the return ferry and expedited our boarding to make it fast and painless. If you want to see Tangier, I highly recommend Said Private Day Tours.

I went away for two and a half days with my teenage daughter on Said’s private day tours of Tangier and Chefchaouen and could not recommend Said and his team highly enough. From the moment we were picked up by our driver in Malaga to bring us to the ferry to the moment he dropped us off after our trip, both myself and my daughter were amazed at how well the trip was planned and executed by everyone involved. Muhammad, our driver was very friendly and gave us an introduction into Moroccan culture on the drive down to Tarifa. He bought our tickets and brought us right to customs where in less than 5 minutes we were on the ferry to tangier. We were met after the ferry by both Said and another Muhammad, our tour guide for the next two days. We were given priority going through customs and our tour began swiftly. Mohammad has a brilliant and through knowledge of all aspects of Moroccan life and was happy to share it all. We spent the first day in Tangier visiting all the agreed sites and spent the night in a fabulous Riad in the old city. Muhammad ensured that we felt safe and confident at all times and had a very warm and friendly personality. He seemed to know everyone in Tangier and was friendly to everyone we meet. We felt comfortable asking him any questions we had and he was more than happy to answer them all. He did everything in his power to ensure we saw everything that tangier has to offer. The following morning he drove us to Chefchaouen, and again the day was wonderful. Not only did we explore the touristy sites but Muhammad also have us an insight into the locals lives and practices as well. It was my daughters birthday that day and Muhammad ordered a cake for us without our knowledge to a restaurant that we had our dinner in that night ourselves. It was such a surprise and was a thoughtful gesture that my daughter will always appreciate. This was typical of Muhammad, he went above and beyond the typical task of a tour guide. He seemed to know what we needed before we knew ourselves. Muhammad was a fantastic guide and great company. Again the Riad that night was spectacular and breakfast was delicious. We felt very safe to walk around by ourself at night in Chefchaouen and enjoyed the freedom to wander the streets. After breakfast we headed back to Tangier where we met Said who treated us to tea and organized to get our passports stamped and brought us to the ferry. From the outset, Said organized everything to the last detail and ensured that our tour ran like clockwork. Muhammad our guide was a very nice and kind person that was always looking out the us and helpful at every possible opportunity. We had a fantastic time on the tour and would recommend people to book a tour with Said and to the relax and enjoy the tour as it will be exactly what you agree with Said. They are fantastic people and it gave us a wonderful understanding if a great culture.
