We spent many hours planning our September tour of Morocco for 11 days with Zakaria & Fatima. They planned a personal trip in a private vehicle for 2 , modifying their itinerary to suit our travel requests. The riads & hotels were also jointly discussed with lots of options to chose from. Pure Morocco were very competitively priced & we were looking forward to our trip of a lifetime. Unfortunately, we had to cancel due to the pandemic & Zakaria processed a full refund for deposit, quickly & efficiently. We will definitely rebook in the future :)

Fatima was our tour planner and she took our desires of locations to visit and places to stay and created a trip of a lifetime in Morocco. We are two women with much travel experience, but this being North Aftrica, we wanted escorted touring. We chose to begin in Rabat - a very clean and modern city. Chellah, the Roman ruins are a highlight here. Our drivers were outstanding and professionally dressed, articulate, kind and helpful always. Ask for Nouradine or Houdine - both excellent at their jobs. Nouraddine even escorted us on an impromptu hike though he was only required to drive us. There are too many highlights to mention, but we loved The cooking class at La Maison Arabe in Marrakech, our hike in the High Atlas and lunch at Kasbah du Toubkal, our stay at the Branson property, Tadamot(stay 2 days here if you can afford as a treat), our camel ride and glamping at Chebbi in the Sahara(sunset and sunrise), our days exploring the history and culture in the Medina of Fez and staying at an amazing Riad Karawan, our well led tour of the Roman Ruins at Volubilis (do not miss), and our final days in the Blue village of Chefcharouen with it amazing accoustics, fantastic setting for photos and the nearby hike at Akhour Falls where we saw the wild Macaques(Apes). We highly recommend these places and things to do and we highly recommend Fatima at Pure Morocco Tours and Travel to make your trip one to remember.

Pure Morroco looked after us on a day tour to Rabat, a half day tour of Casablanca and transfers to the airport. Hicham, our guide on the Rabat tour, was very knowledgeable and engaging, and passionate about his city and homeland. We enjoyed many little side steps as he moulded our itinerary to the interests we revealed during our day together. In Casablanca we were led by Sayeed (I hope that is the correct spelling...ask for the guide who once led tours in Bath!). Again, engaging and knowledgeable and like Hicham, highly recommended. And then there was Abdul (in fact, Bourhim Abdelmalek) - our driver for two days. Kept us safe, delivered us wherever we needed to be and was charming and good humoured despite the long hours - and the car was immaculate and the water always very welcome! We could not have been in better hands and have no hesitation in recommending Pure Morroco and its team.

We booked a 10 day full Morocco trip with Pure Morocco - chose to book hotels on our own through points, which worked out well. Fatima Azzahare was amazing from the start. She was prompt in giving the quotes to customizing endlessly. She even confirmed our hotel reservations even though we had not booked them through her!! In Morocco itself, Laarbi, our driver was super friendly, funny and above all safe. He was also our concierge, and helped with laundry and finding places to eat. He drove us all over the country on large highways and tiny roads on the mountains - not once did we get car sick. Finally, we met with Fatima (another one) in Marrakesh who was our concierge for the day. She is a very kind soul and went above and beyond to make us happy. The trip was wonderful overall - the country is beautiful and the people are so very kind. The scenery was breathtaking and worth every penny spent to visit!

We arrived in Casablanca on a cruise ship. Our half-day tour with Pure Morocco was pre-arranged. Our guide, Mr. Arafa, met us at the dock. There was also a driver, who was very good. Mr. Arafa spoke very good English and told us a lot about life in Morocco. The highlight of the tour was going into the huge, beautiful mosque. The market was fascinating and gave us a glimpse into a different way of life. I would not have wanted to go there myself, but felt very comfortable there with our guide. We visited a rug shop and Mr. Arafa told us to just be polite and listen for 5 minutes, so we did, and we got to see some lovely rugs. There was not a lot of pressure to buy anything. After the tour I heard from many fellow passengers about their tours, bith through the cruise line, and privately arranged. Almost all of the people I spoke to were unhappy with their tour or their guide, or both. Some were told they were not able to go to the mosque because they were not Muslim. This is not true. Some had guides who could not speak English well. We spoke to a couple who told us their bus was in an accident during their tour. I even heard about a few people who were left behind by their guide at one of the stops. All of them were taken to rug shops. That’s just the way it is here. We experienced that in Turkey, too. After hearing about the tours that other passengers had, I feel very grateful to Pure Morocco for providing us with a chance to learn more about life in Morocco, with a safe and interesting tour, and with a very good guide and driver. In the context of the experiences of other passengers and in the context of the local culture, this tour deserves 5 stars.
