We passed by the Chellah and found it a great view on the past of Rabat. It has a very relaxing park and old ruins, including an old mosque.

Pretty cool as old ruined buildings go, however for me the attraction wasn't the ruins at all. It is inhabitated by storks, amazing huge birds! Also, at the bottom of the site is a great large garden with fruit trees and a nice atmosphere.

Very interesting if you are interested in ancient ruins and archaeology, but it is best if you have a guide to explain what you are looking at.

This place is a combination of history and nature. The Roman ruins are very much well preserved. In fact they impressed me as some of them were more intact than the ones I saw in Trier in Germany. Also the location is full of botanical...More

Yes there is a parking area in front of the entrance. It is mainly used by tourist coaches but they don't fill the area.

You dont necessarily need a tour guide. The town is easy to get around simply by walking to most of the spots. In the kasba you will find some "tour guides" that will show you around. They expect a tip so be clear up... More
