Built during the French protectorate, this impressive white structure is worth a quick look. I didn't expect to find a cathedral in this Islamic heartland. It is dedicated to and bears St.Peter's name.

It's quite impressive in front of a big square that we came on foot after the modern art museum. We didn't enter the church but from outside it looked very beautiful and impressive. In the square there are 2 different tram stop.

The church is not open for visitors outside of mass times, so best to find out when mass occurs or to come on Sunday morning.
