very impressive gate to entice you into the city and the old Jewish quarter. Good for a photo stop at least.

It is a very beatiful gate like many we can see in Morocco. Of course we can't see them all, but this one is worth while.

It is known as the Thursday Gate as a market was held in the area every Thursday. The gate is also associated with the former Jewish Quarter.

Bab El-Khemis Gate is nothing more than that - a gate. If you're in Meknes you will be driving by anyway so you might as well stop for a photo-op. Nothing much more to it.

Not much to do here, it is mostly a 5 minute photo op. Good luck trying to get a picture of no people or no cars. It's very busy and please watch when you cross.

Beautiful gate and architecture. Close to the bus station. Try and visit during the day, we were here at night and there lighting is poor, hence our photos were sadly not great.

This entrance to the walled medina is very lovely and very decorated. You wouldn't go to Meknes and not stop for a photo here.

So beautiful!!!! The architecture is unreal. All the holes in the walls is for the scaffolding so they can restore the walls.
