My husband and I had such a wonderful time with Mohamed - it was like spending a day with an amazing local friend. His expertise, kindness, patience and advice made our trip so much better. We spent a day with him around Marrakesh, where he took us to some of key spots around the city and took us around the markets, taking us to the some of the shops and giving us some tips on navigating the city. He also arranged a day trip for us to see the mountains and Ait Benhaddou Kasbah with the lovely Mustapha, which was also incredible.

We also kept in touch throughout the rest of the week, with him recommending restaurants and the best shops.

I can't recommend him enough, and I'm definitely booking another trip to Morocco to go on his longer tours. Thank you Mohamed!

10 days in Morocco. Ten amazing days. Everything perfectly organized by Mohamed the manager of Desert Escapades. We arrived in Marrakesh, travel to Desert and finally Fez and Chefhauen. Our driver Abdu, a nice and friendly person, made our stay in Morocco very comfortable.
I recommend them for your trips. They are the best.

We recently traveled to Morocco in a group of 11 people and had the best time with Mohamed, who showed us a fun and authentic time in his country. We only had 3 days to spend with him and a complicated itinerary with people departing to different places at different times, but Mohamed meticulously thought through all the logistics and managed to pack our time together with interesting and unique experiences. He made the entire process seamless and was always super responsive to any questions I had before the trip. Mohamed is an incredibly knowledgeable guide and truly passionate about crafting the perfect itinerary to fit the group's desires. Must do for anyone visiting Morocco!

This was our first time in Morocco so naturally we did not know what to expect in a new place and we were pleasantly surprised! From the moment we landed Mohammed was outside the airport to pick us up. His English is amazing (he is also very funny) and we had no problems communicating the entire trip. Without him I don't think we could have communicated with a number of people along the way. We drove through the Tichka Pass, Ait Ben Haddou, the Road of One Thousand Kasbahs, the Valley of Roses, Gorge Todra, the Merzouga desert, Draa Valley and the Atlas Mountains. It was definitely the best way to see as much as Morocco as we could in a limited amount of time that we had for this trip.

The highlight of the trip was our night in the desert! Everything was so organized and we were able to ride camels, watch the sunset on the dunes and spend a beautiful night in a tent that felt like we were full on glamping!! Again, pleasantly surprised with our accommodations in the desert. Mohammed was very knowledgeable on the history of Morocco and even shared some persona stories as a local. I couldn't imagine a more authentic trip and we hope to come back soon so we can see even more of Morocco with the most amazing tour guide Mohammed!

Mohamed #1 and Mohamed #2 took my friend and I on the ride of a lifetime to the Chegaga dunes in the Sahara and we had an absolute blast! We laughed, ate, drank wine on the dunes at night, told jokes, listened to music, and even had an impromptu dance party with our new friends, the Mohameds! All of this, and we learned so much about each other. This was my favorite thing I did during the whole 3 weeks in Morocco back in November 2014 :)

You need to escape the hectic and stressful life in the Western world? Do you need to energize yourself? Visit Morocco!
This country is amazing and has so much to offer. It's full of colors - 1000 shades of yellow and orange in the desert with its breathtaking sunsets , colorful female dresses ( really they do not wear just black), 100 of shades of blue in Chefchauen will blow your mind away, same as oriental spices smells at local markets ( it brings memories back when cooking home and using it, I did buy a lot!😉).
Don't worry and be adventurous and try local cuisine, your taste buds will be more than pleased ( harira for 3dirhams at big Marrakech square is a must and try amlou- local speciality from almonds and argan oil) and I can go on and on and boast about our trips to Morocco.

How we feel about Morocco and the fact that we do keep coming back is a great deal thanks to Mohamed, who runs Desert Escapades and who was our first guide( and since then the only one as we don't want anybody else😉).
We got in touch with Mohamed thru friends who travelled with him few years back.
It was a best choice we could have made!
Since then Mohamed organized several trips for me and also my friends, to a different parts of Morocco.
Mohamed will tailor the trips to suit your needs and wishes. He respects his client's requests fully, he doesn't push you into something you don't like or something that doesn't fit your taste.
He is friendly, but at the same time he gives his clients space they need. This was much appreciated by us.

Mohamed is very knowlegable, he loves his country and you can get into very interesting discussions with him if you wish to.
He gives you local shopping advice but stays out of your bargains, to keep neutral.😊
And last not least Mohamed has a great sense of humor- we had lots of laughter during our trips and because of his passion for the music, there was always something good on in the car.
Mohamed, big thanks again and looking already forward to our next trip! We will be back for sure!

Nothing that you can read, watch on tv or movies can prepare you to the beauty of Morocco. Mohammed and his team showed us amazing places; stunning kasbahs, beautiful landscapes, the peacefulness of the desert and the big heart and culture of Moroccan people. We spent an unforgettable day in the Sahara desert, rode camels, ate delicious tagine, watched the sunset and spent a an unbelievable night at camp surrounded by friends who strived to always make us feel welcomed and comfortable. We felt very safe at all times.
Mohammed treated us as friends and gave us an insight into his culture that you will never learn or find in books. I highly recommend them!

We were picked up in the morning from our riad by the wonderful Mohamed and Idris who took us on an insightful and authentic day trip from Marrakech.

We visited the beautiful Beldi Country Club with it’s incredible glassblowing and pottery workshops nestled amongst stunning rose gardens and giant cacti. We then headed to into the foothills of the Atlas mountains to Jarjeer Mule and Donkey Refuge, an orphanage and care centre for working donkeys. It was wonderful to learn about the important work the Jarjeer team are undertaking. Our final stop was for lunch in the lush Ourika Valley, Mohamed knew the best place to stop and we ate a delicious meal with our feet almost in the glacial blue water of the Ourika river. Throughout the trip Mohamed had so much to share with us, we learnt so much about the country and its people, including a fun lesson in the desert blues!

This was the perfect trip if you are short on time and want to get out of the city and experience more of Morocco. I am already planning a return trip including a longer desert tour with Mohamed and his expert team!
