Very nice, well maintained museum. We visited with a big group of students and that was absolutely no problem. All information is in multiple languages. They also offer delicious mint tea on the terrace.

The museum is in the middle of the souk area in the medina, so it's easy to miss the relatively modest entrance. However, once you're inside, it's a whole different world! You see a beautiful riad with lots of original artefacts, silence and more! We...More

If you want a little break from the chaos that is Marrakech I suggest you pop into the Heritage museum. A small museum but they have some facinating items and it's all clearly explained. Finish your visit with a peppermint tea on the roof terrace...More

We weren't exactly lost, but pushed along by the crowds, we sought refuge. Fortunately we saw a sign pointing towards a museum. The Heritage Museum of Marrakech is a small, modest collection capturing Morocco's past. The exhibits are well displayed and explained (in English). It...More

This is a quirky, family-run museum that we spent about an hour in. It houses a range of Moroccan artefacts from coins to furniture to clothes. I appreciated that there was text in useful (not boring) English, as this is not usually the case at...More

The Heritage Museum is very beautiful. We enjoyed looking around. It's small and not over crowded. The terrace is nice for fresh tea. Leaves are pulled off plants in front of you. Make sure to watch your head heading down the stairs.

This museum was small but it was one of my favorites because it had information in English, something most of the others didn’t have. I would really recommend it
