We booked this tour with little (to no) expectations and were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the accommodating service of our driver and the entire tour! While we never did get to meet Mohammed (who we booked with), Omar was wonderful, pleasant, professional and thorough! He even invited us to have lunch with his family which was a special treat! We were afraid the long drive would make the kids bored, but the ever-changing landscape kept all of us entertained and enthralled! We traveled with my two kids (ages 11 and 12) and they had a great time, especially as three of the hotel properties had a pool they could swim in! The Riads and tours of the Medinas (both in Fez and Marrakech) were so informative! The highlight of the tour definitely had to be our ride into the Sahara desert and our beautiful oasis where we stayed! The rooms were beyond expectations! The service, views, food and the music out there amazing and pictures don’t do it justice! They even bent over backwards and got us cold beers after our hot journey! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking! I almost forgot! We had a major snafu with the airlines, who canceled our reservation into Casablanca making us scramble to figure out how to get from Malaga, Spain to Morocco. Mohammed and his team rolled with the punches and they picked us up in Fez as if nothing ever happened! We sadly missed Casablanca, but that was definitely not their fault and we appreciate how accommodating they made everything! p.s. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to upload 10 photos per review. Sad, as there are just too many photos to choose from!

We have just finished our 4 day/3 night Desert trip from Marrakesh with Youssef and had the most MAGICAL time! Camel trekking, exploring the Atlas Mountains, dressing up in local outfits, eating picnics in the middle of the desert, visiting amazing old villages… It was a real once in a lifetime adventure. The van was super comfortable, Youssef cleaned it every morning before we got back in there for the day. The hotels and camp we stayed at were great! Food all along the way was delicious. It definitely exceeded expectations. We got so many unbelievable photos from this long weekend + we will be looking back on them as beautiful memories for years to come. Thank you Youssef + the team at Sahara Desert Tours! You’re the best! Lydia + Joe

We did Tour 1 (3 days - from Marrakesh to the Sahara). Wonderful experience overall. The Sahara desert leaves you amazed by its unique beauty and the camp is luxury and cozy. The staff in the camp are friendly, welcoming and polite, they deserve a big shout out as they have been fantastic with us! Our driver, Hassan, was great too. We truly enjoyed all the places we visited. Food was excellent and we were happy with everything else. However, there are just a few things that you need to know if you wish to book this tour: - You will stay in the desert very little time (from 5:30pm to 8:00am the next day - and if you want to go back by camels, you need to leave the camp earlier). - You will stay in the car most of the time (you can do flexible stops but they are very quick and the last day you basically only go back to Marrakesh). This tour is ideal if you enjoy seeing a lot of things but from the car. - You need to make sure that you double-check the itinerary with the driver before starting the tour (we were supposed to see an argan oil farm but we didn't do and nobody told us why).

We booked our trip via email before arriving in Morocco. The 4x4 was air conditioned, comfortable and the itenary was flexible enough to tailor to our needs,We had a really lovely time throughout the whole trip,The luxury tent was amazing. It came with WiFi, hot water, great dinner and even live Berber music performance. We had the chance to experience 2 camel rides, for sunset and sunrise. Both were truly wonderful. The staff ensured we had a good time, always checking if everything was fine, and even taught us how to sandboard,The Sahara is definitely worth checking out at least once in your lifetime, and we have no regrets that we did it with Morocco Social Travel.

I planned and booked this tour about 2 weeks before I went. Mohammad communicated with me via email and WhatsApp really well. He responded my email in a day. When I arrived Casablanca, Omar picked me up at the CMN airport and he would be my tour guide for the next 8 days. Omar greeted me and a very friendly manner and he gave me his WhatsApp number. He took me everywhere I wanted to go and he was very flexible for changes. We communicated with WhatsApp very well. Omar was a responsible and he responded me quickly, no matter what time. At the end of last trip, I had to changed my plan due to the Covid restriction changes in Morocco, I had to leave 1 day early. Omar was flexible for the changes and he drove me 7 hours straight from Fes to Sahara, and he drove me 10 hours straight from Sahara to Casablanca to catch the next day flight. The riads and the tent were traditional and beautiful. I would say Sahara Desert Tour made my trip unforgettable. Thanks Sahara Desert Tour & Omar.
