I came upon the new shop 'Byfaissal' when looking for some other things nearby. The scarves are all beautiful. Prices are listed for each scarf and firm. I bought three - one for me and two as gifts. The new address (I think( is on Rue Souika Riad El Arous (according to google maps). It is near the Souk Cherifia.

Faissal is very nice traditional weaver in Marrakech with excellent hand woven scarfs and other fabrics. If you're in Marrakech you need to visit is store near the café Arabe, you won't find this kind of products somewhere else.

En route to the Maison de la Photographie, you come across this lovely little shop selling handwoven scarves and shawls and towels in every possible colour imaginable. And right in the middle sits Muhammad working away non-stop on the hand loom, showing you how they are produced. There is no pressure to buy, but you will want to, as these... More

This tiny store tucked in a corner between the el Fondouk restaurant and the Musee de Photographie is a must for anyone looking for excellent craftsmanship in hand woven scarves and bed linens. Prices are fixed, and the service is gentle and attentive. A family business now handed down to the sons, who say they learned weaving ``from the moment... More
