We wanted a hammam in the old city. This one was recommended by our hotel and proved to be excellent. It may be pricier than some other options but we were very well looked after and had excellent massage treatments.

Good welcome at the door. Price good. Seemed clean. Personally didn't like the room we went in at first for the hammam ritual as it was hot, to be expected, but very small so made me feel claustrophobic. Managed together across that I would like some air and then felt better. Staff were nice but didn't really speak any basic english and with me only knowing 3 arabic phrases, that didn't really help. Hammam ritual was a good experience. Tea and relax was then nice before the massage. Asked for a draining massage but got a run of the mill massage which was the same as what my partner was getting.tea and biscuit to follow. Great changing facilities. One thing I hated was the gowns. Top small so quite revealing which I didn't like. Stopped me from feeling as relaxed as I should in the relax area. Would I go again? Would probably try somewhere else but it was ok.…

This was a good value and delightful experience. The couples hammam is an unusual offer in Marrakech. We shared a steam room and each had an attendant applying and then vigorously rubbing off the rose oil and black soap. We were left a good while in the steam room, the temperature was good for us and they checked in a couple of times to be sure we were OK. Then we were taken for the massage which was one of the best I ever had. We chose the drainage massage. It wasnt particularly hard, but nevertheless very effective. We felt totally relaxed and pampered. The relaxation room was tranquil and we were given tea and water, though the black and red decor was perhaps a little counter intuitive. Would definitely recommend.…

Overall good value. For the equivalent of 100€, I booked a 45-min scrubdown, a 60-min massage, and a facial. The hammam is well appointed, and comfortable. Service was attentive and professional. Hammam is a shared room with hot marble tables where they lather you up, scrub you all over with a corse glove and then cover you with clay. Its a decent experience and the skin comes out very soft. The massage was average, not strong enough even after repeating I could handle deep tissue. The masseuse does not ask if you have any problem areas and probably does the same massage for everyone. Be prepared for lots of oil, including on your face and hair. The last 10 minutes was essentially rubbing my big toes (which I suppose is meant to be reflexology) but not exactly what you would expect from an hour relaxing massage. The facial treatment was decent with cleaning, exfoliation, 2 masks and moisturizers. No actual skin cleaning or steam to open the pores. Overall, good value and pleasant experience. …

I had booked a Marrakech ritual. It was amazing, 4 hours of relaxation. I wish I could tip the ladies who worked on my body, but it wasn't possible, they already had other clients. Three ladies worked on my body: one at the hammam, one at the "packaging" and one at the massage. The ladies used command words like 'sit' and 'turn', but I looked at their faces and saw they said the words with kindness, they wanted me to feel good, the verbs were probably among the few English words they knew. I don't expect people here to speak English, because it is very different than their native Arabic, even the alphabet is different. How to make the most out of this hammam experience: 1. Get your own swimming underwear. The disposable ones they give you are uncomfortable and too small if you are a plus size woman like me. 2. Don't come at the end of the working hours, because the ladies will be tired. 3. Try not to come in the busy tourist season or in weekends, when there are a lot of clients, but the same staff. I had my Marrakech ritual on a Wednesday starting at 1pm and it was absolutely great. …
