I would like to let everyone know just what a FANTASTIC job Atlas Sahara Explore did with planning, arranging and providing a personal guide to deliver one of the most memorable vacations! The personalized and exceptional service delivered was astonishing. Our guide, Dani, made this trip memorable and such a pleasure because he was always punctual, friendly, fun, an outstanding driver, full of cultural, regional, and historic knowledge that really added another level of outstanding service. He also really looked out for our well being and ensured that we did not pay the typical tourist prices. I have already recommended him and Atlas Sahara to my friends and colleagues. Thanks again Atlas Sahara and thank you Dani for being a great guide and our new friend!

Atlas made all the arrangements for our family of 7 including two babies and car seats. They made it easy to talk by Whats App and email. Their English is excellent. All the cars provided were new and very clean. The guide for the Atlas hiking was excellent. He provided a wonderful and challenging hike with a special lunch at a Berber house. An experience you could not get with just any hiking company. They are a first rate company and also believe in sustainability I have already recommended them to friends.

Just returned from the most amazing 2 week adventure in Morocco, under the leadership of Mooha, the owner of Atlas Sahara Explore. Our travel agent/owner, Loretta-Marie Adkins, of Clean Getaway Travel contracted with Mocha to do the tour. Amazing is the only word. Wonderful hotels, tours, busses, camel rides, luxury tents in the desert, everything included in trip, food, travel, tips, everything - just amazing. Best part was our Berber tour owner Mooha and his asst Khaled included trips to real life places and people, so we could really see how the people live outside the cities. I loved the trip, every day was a new adventure. The people of Morocco are kind, polite, 0gracious and so helpful. English was spoken everywhere. It was an amazing trip because of Atlas Sahara Explore. I highly recommend their excellent quality of service and attention to detail. The trip was magical. It will always be one of my favorites. I plan to return. Just amazing!

What can I say, beyond thank you! We booked Atlas Sahara Explore for our 16 day tour of Morocco as they had great reviews and looked to offer a tour focused on the Berber culture. Little did we know how truly fantastic everything would be. Every day was a new experience, from the major cities of Casablanca and Rabat, the the smaller towns of Chefchaouen and Fes, and into the Merzouga camp grounds Mouha and his team out did themselves. The tour guides in each place we stayed showed us the Berber culture of that city or medina, we drank tea with the nomads in their tents, had lunch with Mouha's uncle and family (a highlight for me) and rode camels both at sunset and sunrise in the desert. Each day we traveled was well planned with stops along the way to stretch and take care of our needs, shop, have a wonderful (authentic) lunch, touring something beautiful or interesting, seeing the landscape out our comfortable bus and ending in another beautiful hotel or riad! Both Khalid and Mouha helped keep our large group stay focused, together and safe while giving us time to explore on our own as well. I was so touched by our time with the people of Morocco, and especially appreciated spending time with the women. With no common language but the language of respect and love we found ways to communicate and interact. It was powerful! We topped off the trip with 4 days in Essaouria and so glad we did. This seaside city was a perfect location to recuperate from all of the travel, enjoy some great shopping and did I mention the hammams? We indulged in 3 in 3 days! Thank you Mouha from the bottom of my heart. Your team was exceptional! You put together a trip of a lifetime, made our job easier and become a dear friend!

Mouha prepared for us a wonderful private trip. We visited the cities we wanted and also completed a 4-day Trek (off the beaten path) in the High Atlas Mountains. We were passed off between guides, but Khalid was always our driver and he was super friendly, punctual, and accommodating! There were a lot of logistics that went into this trip, and appreciate that it ran very well...no hiccups! A few pieces of advice for planning your trip: - brush up on your French as English is not widely spoked. My French is basic, but still sufficient to order meals and communicate with Khalid for meeting times/places. - each day was a bit different for us. One day we interacted with probably 6 different guides/people to tip (driver, guide, city/local guide, and guides at various co-ops etc.) so needed a bit of cash and in the correct denominations for tips. Another day we needed close to 500DH for entrance fees - we knew they were not included but didn't quite realize the cost for that day so had to hit the ATM twice. City days the local guide often takes you to a restaurant with a set menu. Always good food but it could be 80DH each or 200DH depending on where they decide to take you! Either ask or just be sure to have your money broken down to 20s and 50s for the tips, entrance fees, and lunch. - all of the Riads were very nice and we had a private bath in each. All had AC, which I wasn't expecting but greatly appreciated! Breakfasts were included and varied between Riads (all great!) varying from full Euro-type spread with cheese, meat and boiled eggs, to local crepes/pancakes with bread, jam, honey and olives. - The trek was the highlight of our trip. if you are on the fence, just do it! We had a private cook, 3 muleteers and a hiking guide. Way overkill for 2 people! Everyone was friendly and we had a blast...learned a little Berber along the way. They provided two warm blankets, pillows, and comfy sleeping pads inside our own tent. - Dress respectfully. It's largely a Muslim dominated country and no one needs to see your stomach nor your cleavage. It was HOT when we were there but I was perfectly fine in t-shirt tops and long skirts/pants. I had two tank tops for in the Riad that I simply added a scarf to over my shoulders when out and about. - Don't forget it's cooler by the ocean and in the mountains so layers are a good bet. I had a wool top and fleece for the mountains (hat and liner gloves too) and a long sleeve shirt for the day at the port. All the communications before our trip were great. The inclusions/exclusions were not exactly correct, but it all evened out. We were met at the airport no problem even after our TAP flight was delayed, and taken back with plenty of time to catch the outbound flight. All went very well and I recommend using this company for you adventure! If you have specific questions - please message me separate as I'm happy to provide feedback on the cities and the trek!
