Inevitably you will bet lost within Marrakech's mesmerising maze of alleyways and undoubtedly will stumble into the Rahba Kedima Square. The square is a bustling hive of activity but feels "commercial" compared to some of the smaller squares and markets that you will encounter while...More

One of the squares in Marrakesh where you can buy local produce including spices and olives. Not quite as hectic as some of the other ares of the souks. Interesting to haggle for some spices.

This square is very colorful, so photogenic,!! Did not buy anything here, and the ladies selling spices did not want their picture taken, but it was beautiful nonetheless.

This is your typical Marrakech market. Spices, carpets, clothing, baskets, pottery and so on. Its exciting and full of characters. This market dates back to the 12th century, where it was a grain and slave market. It also leads off to other souks and has...More

again enjoy, haggle and take your time, be in the right frame of mind, a lovely café (the terrace I believe) 3 storey high and worth a coffee (good toilet) and views.

Lively place in the middle of the medina of Marrakech. At the square you can find various merchants selling local goods. One can watch particularly well the bustle of medina right at the edge of the square. Great for people watching!

Would visit if in the vicinity to breathe in the smells. Combine it with a drink in the terrace of the cafe de epices. One thing I should warn animal lovers about is the cages of tortoises which did upset me.
