I cannot say enough positive things about Around Morocco Tours (AMT) and I believe they are the reason my 18 day trip was so amazing. From the first time I contacted Boujouija at AMT (after much research on different tour companies), to the final drop off at the Casablanca airport, everything ran smoothly and professionally. I am not usually an organized tour type, but I am so glad I chose AMT when I made the decision to use a local tour company for my trip to Morocco. What really sold me on AMT were the reviews from other travelers and the fact that Boujouija allows you to customize your tour based on your interests and number of days you have to travel.
Prior to my trip, Boujouija worked very hard to tailor my trip exactly the way I wanted it, and I received a finalized itinerary including contact information for my assigned driver (Abdull). You can also make a down payment when you book, then pay the balance after you get to Morocco, which is a nice option.
I have to give credit where credit is due – my trip would not have been nearly as fantastic without the most amazing driver, Morocco expert, and consummate professional, Abdull. I highly recommend anyone taking a tour with AMT to request Abdull, you will be beyond pleased that you did. I was very impressed with his professionalism, punctuality, historic knowledge, great personality and driving skills…being new to Morocco the driving there is outrageous LOL but Abdull always made me feel safe and I had complete confidence in him! You could literally rely on Abdull for everything from advice where to eat to the best spot for pictures at any given site. He is very considerate of your time and what you want to do/see…and what you want to skip (even if you have last minute changes, thanks Abdull, you’re the best!!). He was always very encouraging, asked if there was anything I needed, and genuinely cared about making sure I had the best trip ever and I did!
I highly recommend that anyone interested in going to Morocco (especially if it’s your first time) reach out to AMT and connect with Boujouija. Even if you prefer DIY travel (like I usually do) and tend to avoid typical tour groups that travel by bus, you will not be disappointed. AMT is a great option especially if you and your friends/family do not have time to fully plan the trip yourselves. Candidly, it was nice to have everything taken care of – you travel by comfortable SUV, have a guide and interpreter throughout the entire trip but still have plenty of time to yourself anytime you want, and you never have to worry about a thing. If you choose AMT, I highly suggest requesting Abdull as your driver and informal Morocco guide as well, he is seriously the best!!

This is the second time I have traveled to Morocco with Around Morocco. I was there 6 years ago with a friend and because we had such a great experience I decided to travel there again with my husband and adult son and his girlfriend who had never been there before. Our guide was Hicham and he exceeded our expectations. From waiting for a nearly midnight arrival(flight delayed multiple times) to being cheerful, helpful, and informative, even while fasting during ramadan, we could not have asked for a better guide. The company is excellent at quickly communicating, and designing itineraries based on your individual desires. I was able to see areas that I had not seen on my previous trip. Highly recommended without hesitation.

Capped off the last two weeks of 2022 with an amazing tour of Morocco thanks to Around Morocco Tours (AMT). Boujouija of AMT was able to customize an itinerary which suited us based on the places we wanted to visit and at our pace. He was very prompt in email communications and accommodated all our requests.
Our guide and driver for the entire trip, Younes won us over with his warmth, attentiveness and ensured we got the best experience. Younes did an amazing job, keeping us comfortable throughout, and pointing out all the incredible sights and sharing the culture and history of the places we visited. We learned a lot from him about the local culture and customs. Knowing our dietary preferences, he went all out to look for suitable restaurants that met our needs. He also kindly accommodated our requests for stops at additional sites. We couldn’t imagine a better driver and guide especially for our first trip to Morocco. Younes made everything so easy and definitely made our trip.
From the breathtaking views of the mountains, the canyon and desert to the intricate architecture of the sites of the imperial cities along with the hospitality of the Moroccan people, the tour exceeded all our expectations.
We had the most amazing time and would certainly recommend Younes and AMT!

Around Morocco Tours (AMT) did an excellent job coming up with day trips for us from Marrakesh, especially since we didn't start working with them until a few weeks before our arrival. We'd originally planned to do our planning ourselves, but as this was part of a longer trip including Spain and Portugal, I was a bit behind the power curve and we decided to use AMT at a friend's recommendations (please note we'd already made our own accommodation arrangements so my review does not include any comments on riads). Without doubt, the absolute best part of our time with AMT was our amazing driver and tour guide, Hicham. The trips were as described in our correspondence with AMT, both in terms of the activities and the prices. When I got ill for a couple of days, AMT was very kind to offer a price reduction while still allowing us to have access to Hicham if we needed or wanted him to take us anywhere on those days; Hicham actually helped me with navigating the healthcare I needed to get better. We spent four solid days in different day trip locations with him exploring Essaouira, the new city, the Atlas Mountains and the Berber Trail, Tichka Pass Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and Atlas Studios. Hicham provide great insights into the country, people, culture, and really tailored our day trips to meet our specific requests. He was kind, courteous, funny, and curious, and we really had the opportunity to get to know him, which was downright delightful. All in all, the experience was excellent, and Hicham was absolutely the best.

We had an amazing 5-day tour with Hicham of Around Morocco Tours. We did a tour of the southern area from Marrakech to the Sahara and back, touring the desert areas and Berber towns. Hicham was always so professional, warm, interesting, and accommodating. He was very knowledgeable, every step of the way, and also excellent at reading our moods and being flexible with our needs from day today. My husband and I both really appreciated him. He did an excellent job and if we ever return to Morocco, we will for sure request another tour with him through Around Morocco Tours.
One unique point about AMT is how flexible and accommodating they are. I was eager for the overnight camping experience in the desert, yet all the companies' tours include camel trekking, and owing to a back injury that was out of the question for me. AMT was the only company that responded to my request--and right away. Boujouija was extremely responsive and communicative in all stages of planning, and graciously arranged a way for us to enjoy the desert camp without camels.
All the accommodations and restaurant choices, as well as sightseeing, were all first rate and we could never have arranged things so well on our own. We'll definitely look them up for a tour of the north next time, with Hicham again. He was great!

We had a wonderful time seeing Morocco through Around Morocco Tours (AMT)! Despite losing our luggage (and having to make multiple unplanned trips to the airport as a result), we were still able to see most everything planned on our comprehensive 11 day itinerary, planned by AMT, thanks to their flexibility, and our very helpful driver, Youssef. AMT was very accommodating, and Boujouija was extremely prompt and professional at returning messages regarding any questions we had while planning the trip. Our family had an unforgettable time, thanks to Around Morocco Tours, and we highly recommend them for seeing this beautiful country!

While our title says “friends” our travel was a daughter/daughter one!
Both of us had independently wished to visit this part of our the world for our own reasons. The tour itself brought us to absolutely gorgeous visuals both in terms of places and people. We were able to visit so many different areas and our guide knew Not only EVERYONE, but EVERYWHERE and yes , you can reverse it. I am in awe of the guide And the country!

Around Morocco Tours was amazing. The company was highly recommended by friends and having completed a 6 day tour of Morocco, we can definitely see why! Boujoujia was extremely responsive and accommodating of all our requests like an overnight camping and camel ride experience in the Sahara. A special shout out to our great driver Hicham who made our trip even more memorable by sharing multiple aspects of the Moroccan culture and way of life. His driving was faultless, be it navigating the busy streets of Marrakech or the winding roads of the Atlas Mountains. He took us to the best cafes and restaurants and was ever eager to help us in whatever way we needed. We will be sure to travel again with Hicham whenever we visit Morocco again.

A group of 12 of us just got back from a 10 day road trip in Morocco with Around Morocco Tours & had a fantastic time !! Our guide, Hicham, was kind, caring and one of the friendliest tour guides we have ever had !! He treated us like family, made sure we are comfortable throughout the trip. Highlights of the trip were staying in the blue city Chefchaouen, riding ATVs and camels in the desert and walking around the alleys in the medinas everywhere ! While the riads we were booked into were really quaint, historic with amazing architecture, the shower conditions in some were less than optimal which may be due to cold weather & old plumbing. Overall, a well organized trip & we all had a great time in Morocco, Thanks in big part due to Hicham and his careful handling of everything our group of 12 needed during the entire trip !

Highly recommend this company. Our driver/guide, Hamid, was a very adept driver who always made us feel safe. Accommodations were mostly in very attractive riads. The camel ride into the desert was amazing. This tour was highly flexible to meet our interests and choices. We feel that we learned a lot about Morocco through this tour. Around Morocco Tours would be our choice if we returned to Morocco and needed a tour.

Did any of you visit a hammam while taking your Around Morocco tour? If so, what city were you in and how was it/was it worth experiencing? I'm hoping to go next year and am starting to figure out what I want to do and see (since I can likely go for 10 days and not on the Grand 16 day tour) so any feedback is appreciated :)

Has anyone here had any experience with the price being different than advertised? I reached out to inquire about a 4 day trek in June. Online it's quoted at €500 per person for 2-3 people but when I received an email back I was quoted €600 per person for 2 people due to it being June (busy season). It's not a great deal more but I want to make sure I'm not being taken for a ride (pun intended!).

It could be for many different reasons but most probably it is because of high season.
I would ask them for a discount and see what they can provide and let them know that you saw it advertised online for a different price.
I booked a tour with them a few months ago and felt they were extremely fair in what they gave us and what they advertise.
I would also make sure that you have everything you want included in the tour. I squeezed in as much as possible to ensure I was making the most out of the experience and time with the driver.

“Fantastic experience”
Myself and 3 friends came across the business on Trip Advisor and were immediately impressed with Muphasa's speedy and informative responses to emails. The trip was well planned, the minibus even had wifi and a phone charger! The camels and horses were clearly well treated and respected and the staff were all absolutely wonderful. We had lunch at the family Riad which was simply fantastic, the views, the service and the food were all to die for. Our guide was informative, helpful and extremely friendly, making the whole trip very enjoyable. We had great fun walking up to the waterfalls (despite my silly walking boots - would advise wearing sensible footwear!) and then, based on our first experience, we decided to use the business again for our airport transfers and for a trip to Essaouira. The trips were extremely good value for money.
