This place is quite intimidating when you first arrive, really busy, lots of people trying to sell you junk. You can get some good bargains but you must barter. All the locals are friendly enough but don't be afraid to say no if you are...More

Lots of good products here. Can get lost the network is that big. However only given a four due to the fact that you are slightly hassled whilst walking through although this is to be expected.

You have to be very careful. Lots of people walking and many of them driving on bikes. They don't care about space. You have to deal about prices. Always go more then 50 % of there price. Remember you can find cheaper somewhere else. Don't...More

You have to perfect your negotiation skills before coming to souks:) the main idea is to have fun when you are doing it. However be advised that buying anything would take at least 30 min:)

There are some fab places to see in the Souk and as with everything there are some good products and some very shabby ones. Don't miss the olives and preserved fruit, the welding is stuck in a time warp with very little safety going on....More

We had fun shopping in the souk. Somethings were more expensive than elsewhere and we found some of the shop owners a little precious if you chose not to buy something but all in all we loved it.

Don't go here of you are insecure about being a tourist. Don't go here if you are unwilling to see things in their natural element. Artisanal goods should be respected in their making and in their selling. This was a super inspirational moment as an...More

Tangier was a nice contrast to the bigger cities we visited. Also, Chefchaouen, the blue city, was well worth the visit--beautiful. We were only there for a day, would have stayed overnight if I had to do it over again.
