Very busy area with branded shops and little local shops side be side. Loads of places to eat. We loved to eat at central market where they served fresh seafood.

This is the Western part of the city - boutique stores, western franchises with street vendors to add a touch of Morocco. Lots of tour guides trying to sell you excursions, I would suggest booking in advance via TripAdvisor, as they will try and make...More

Reasons I can think of to go there: 1. You're so homesick for something that feels western, that a crappy little mall and western-looking apartment buildings seem appealing. (No joke, if you've spent too long in the medina, this might be a relief) 2. You...More

We went to visit Eden mall for some groceries and snacks and then lunch at these two places. Worth doing if you have a few days in Marrakech and are not rush. Both the KFC and Dino's are Western quality. Lovely AC in KFC for...More

The area is more contemporary with shops you will recognise from elsewhere in the world. Not always a good thing, but useful for places like Carrefour etc.

Very disappointing, don't bother, best thin was the macdonalds and the starbucks, so don't bother going.

It is not quite a city. In fact it is the new part of old Marrakech, built by the French. The main part of Gueliz is very busy and rather hectic and one finds every comfort, boutiques and coffee sone might see at home.

The Gueliz is in the center of the new city of Marrakech. It is a great place for having lunch in a restaurant.

We absolutely loved this part of Marakesh. It is very modern with latest fashion. Certainly doesn't feel like Marakesh at all. Worth a visit. We had some desserts at the Queen Atlantic after walking around a bit and they were amazing.

Hi, we went there via the Cyber Park, it was probably about 35/40min walk at a reasonably slow pace. Jan
