This is one of Marrakech's famous parks and, whilst it's fair to say that there isn't a lot to see, it is a nice place to spend an hour or two and get some peace from the rush of the city. The reviewers that say they couldn't see a garden seem to have totally missed several acres of olive groves,... More

Peaceful olive groves line a wide path up to the pavilion and large lake. The path stretches in a straight line back to Koutoubia mosque. A great view of the Atlas which would have been better in the afternoon for photos. There is a man doing lovely calligraphy souvenirs. Good for plane watchers as it is adjacent to the airport... The gardens are a good 45-50 minutes walk from Jemaa el Fna. I was however a little disappointed when I arrived. All that was there was a man-made lake with a pavillion on one side. There was some seating which was nice but there wasn't anything there, for example no shops or toilet facilities. I am told on some days... More

If you were to go to the son-et-lumière, the attraction would probably earn a much higher rating fir charm and interest, but a daytime stroll on a wide strip between olive groves offers very limited appeal. The murky basin, full of brown muddy watersides contain carp, but they were quite lazy on the day we went...maybe a bit bored with... More

Although nice to get out of the Medina for a change, I don't think I would have bothered coming here if I had realised there was so little to see. Olive groves, a big man-make lake - about the right size and shape for rowing races, and a building at the side! We paid to go in, but there was... More

We decided to cab it to the Menara Gardens as we heard one could procure a cheap camel ride, which was true! My husband and young son each rode huge beasts around for 20ish minutes and really enjoyed it. The day was sunny and the vibe was chill. Lots of locals and not too touristy. We had a lovely pot... nice peaceful walk around the man made 'lake' full of fish which will eat out of your hand Very quiet on the day we visited and the olive grows were cool and welcoming The few orange trees were bending with big ripe fruit Worth a visit if only to have a calm hour after visiting the Souks and Medina no... A large water tank to irrigate the surrounding olive groves Made to look stunning in the sunset photographs but really disapointing and just next to the busy airport

we walked here from the jemaa as we did everywhere whilst in Marrakech. its a long way on foot and a big disappointment when you do arrive. there is a small building that we did not pay to enter situated on the side of a large pool. we sat on the wall and walked round the pool, that was about...
