Interesting building, but museum wasn't good. Very small and a very limited number of items to see, i had seen it all in about 15 mins. Part of the museum, 1 of the 3 main rooms is actually an art gallery. It's only 50 MAD, so cheap but if your expecting a proper museum you'll be disappointed. Also all signs... More

Was in and out in 15 minutes. Tatty old palace setting. I could count the number of 'exhibits' on one hand. Very bizarre. All the signs are written in Arabic and French so don't expect to learn anything inside if you can't speak those. The cafe outside is bad. Don't get coffee or espressos.

Difficult to find but worth a visit. Artefacts are nothing special but the internal building is lovely. Good little cafe for coffee or an omelette. Don't be out off by locals telling you the museum is closed and offering to take you to the tanneries - it isn't closed!

There are very few artifacts in this museum. I was surprised when I ran out of museum 30 minutes in. There are no English signs, only french. The walls and mosaic are nice, but basically the same as the palace.

This was a quaint little museum with some fantastic artefacts on display. It was also free which is always a bonus. A must see!

Well worth a visit to see and find out about Moroccan arts and crafts. But the highlight is the magnificent courtyard chandelier. A nice break from the hubbub of Marrakech. The museum also has a nice little cafe to put your feet up in the shade :)

We didn't get a guide so couldn't understand 90% of what the museum was about - get yourself a guide if you don't speak French or Arabic! To be honest there's not much to really see.

The museum is next to the Ali Ben Youssef Madrasa in the northern medina. It's 50 dirhams to enter (just over £4) but if you can buy a combined ticket for both attractions for 60 dirhams. Not massive amounts to see but it is all rather beautiful. The light in the main hall is serene. We found it welcome respite... More

As it is the museum of Marrakech I thought it would be quite good so had high expectations. It was 6€ for a double entry to the museum and the old university that's just down the lane. They had a few bits of jewellery, clothes, weapons and some new art but it was very scarce and only explained in Arabic... More
