The Medersa is beautiful, however, I would recommend going with a tour guide, this allows you to skip the ticket queues and lets you get a better understanding of the building and its history.

Even if you are not an architecture fan, you will enjoy the beauty of this place. Mosaics and sculpting works there are unbelievable. Even if you have 10 minutes - go there.

I can see that it has been under renovation, but we walked around with the many, many other tourists and enjoyed the view. It took us less than 20 minutes and we were out again. It might have been more interesting with a guide.

Crowded with people, worth visiting even if they do not let you see the upper floors. You will not be able to see all the amenities you find in your tourst guide.

It’s mid way through a two year refurbishment programme ... should be good when it’s done. They need to do the same to the Museum of Marrakech next door!

Looks amazing but it is under renovations, or it was the day I went. Not sure what the whole things holds!

Visited this Medrasa on a previous visit to Marrakech and wanted to see it again this time as it was very impressive. Sadly it is closed for renovations for the last year and we were told it will still be closed for another year.

This medresseh, built in the Fourteenth Century, is the biggest medresseh in Morocco. It was open for education until recently. The mosaic ornaments and the stained glasses are worth to be seen.

Ben Yousef was an Islamic college built by Saadien dynasty Morocco in around mid 1500's. The main building centers around a courtyard(typical Moroccan) with a pool in the middle. Facing the front across the pool, as you enter, it has a praying area. Visitors can...More

We were there in mid-November and it was closed. As with another responder, we were told for at least another year. It was heavy construction and clearly no where near complete.
