About
My taste for travel and especially for Asia brought me to Thailand where I discovered, a few years ago, traditional Thai massage, foot massage (foot reflexology) and aromatherapy massage. I then imagined that one day, I could make discover in Marrakech, all the benefits of these ancestral massages, it is this idea and this passion that was born the Baan Thai Institute of Marrakech.

We love this place!! Ever since my girlfriend and I came to Marrakech, we found this Hammam & SPA Studio and have become huge fans of it.
The girls at the reception are super professional and nice. If you leave your phone number, you will be included in the CRM system and you can always see who has performed which treatment on you. The hammam is super clean and the ladies always do a great job. After the hammam you can book a massage where you will receive a professional treatment. The masseuses are very competent and are trained for traditional Thai massage. Great store that we would highly recommend.

We visited Baan Thai last week on Thursday for hammam and massage and facial package and then returned on Saturday for a back and shoulder massage. We were two couples and had the most amazing experience. The massage therapists are just superb - a piece of Thai magic in the middle of Marrakech in a gorgeous setting. We chose to have the Saturday massage in the treatment room on the roof terrace - it is just stunning! I highly recommend the treatments at Baan Thai and as we are regulars to Marrakech, we will definitely be returning. Thank you Remi for the headache oil and showing us the beautiful terrace.

My husband and I have had many Thai massages in Thailand but the BaanThai Institute has been the best massage so far. I had a medium strength Thai massage and my husband had deep Thai massage, both lasting 90 minutes. The therapists were very professional and knowledgeable of what was needed to get our very stiff muscles and clonking bones into action again (we are in our 60s). If I had been staying longer, I would have like to gone back for a relaxing oil massage as well (next time). They have different treatments to cater for your individual needs.

I had a massage and facial this week. The person doing the massage ‘popped’ my spine during it and laughed. I have been in pain since and finding it difficult to move.
Aside that, I found the staff to be generally unfriendly and did not explain what I needed to do or where to go after each treatment.
Would like to know if the person who did my massage was fully trained. I will need to get treatment for my spine if it does not get better.
It is not the cheapest place. Not worth the money as far as I am concerned.

Hey Baan Thai,
I have been a customer to your place for a while now. It has always been a pleasure to spend moments of relaxation but today the experience of Hamam was special and literally cosmic.
For the first time I succumbed to an unprecedented pleasure and relaxation. If I'm making a comment today -rarely that i do so, it's to highlight the beauty of a perfectly harmonious moment, a fairy moment where I melted into the great combination of the Thai/Mor energy. Nonetheless, special credits should go to a wonderful women who's name is Saida and was absolutely the main reason of such perfection. She took care of my soul and my spirit. Taking care of those three component ; body, soul and spirit under significant heat is no easy matter. It should be medaled.
Anyone who search for such perfection should go to Baan Thai and ask after Saida.
NB : To Baan Folks, please make sure that Saida gets those credits. She deserves a proper recognition.

Just one word to describe it Amazing. I have been to so many massage parlours in marrakech, but this one beat them all by far, the ambience is beautiful authentic Thai deco, the roof terrace massage rooms are a must with excellent view of kutubia, the massues are all from thailand, the one hour Thai mix massage wasn't enough. But was really refreshing, will definitely book again for longer.

We booked a wellness afternoon for two. The booking was made online (a big plus). We had a few questions so we whatsapped them and got an answer promptly.
Finding the place was a different story. Luckily the locals were friendly enough to direct us to our destination.
Once inside we where surprised at how well visited this place is and how big it is.
We were welcomed by the hostesses. They were very friendly. Not everyone speaks English or is confident to, but they do seem to understand. No communication issues occurred during our visit.
They provided us with a bathrobe, slippers and wellness undies. There are lockers for your stuff which is great.
We had the hammam first by Moroccan ladies. They made it a fun and entertaining experience.
After that we had one of the Thai massages. Very pleasant and professional. The Thai ladies know their business.
We ended our day with a pedicure and an eye brow waxing. The eyebrows are not done by threading unfortunately. However the results were satisfactory.
All in all a nice experience; the prices are very reasonable, the personnel is friendly, they kept us well hydrated and the place is clean.

My wife and I took the Bangkok package (Hammam + Thai with warn oils).
Both were delivered to a high standard. I particularly enjoyed the thai massage. I asked the therapist to focus on my upper back/shoulders to relieve cumulated tension. I got the relaxation I expected.
The place is nicely decorated, staff is attentive and customer focus. I recommended it.

I was happy Ban Thai was recommended to me by a friend. Amazing place, easy to find, Staff was very professional and friendly. I visited Ban Thai last year in December 2019 and enjoyed every moment. I have made another reservation for the 25th feb.. I can’t wait
