About Sahara Tours 4x4 Private Trips
Sahara Tours 4x4 offers private tours from such ancient cities as Marrakech and Fez, through the High Atlas Mountains and out into the Sahara Desert. Anywhere you would like to see, it is our pleasure to show you. We have new, comfortable, air-conditioned 4x4s for smaller groups and minivans for larger groups. It is well known that there is a lot of distance to be covered in Morocco so we recommend that you book a longer trip so that we can take our time, drive slowly, stopping any time that you would like to have a break and to take pictures. We can organize trips for any sized group - family, friends or on your own and can accommodate a wide variety of budgets. We are friendly and professional. We speak Spanish, French, English and Italian. Our wish is for you to enjoy a spectacular trip of a lifetime.

I had done a 3 days Tour from Fez to Marrakech with Sahara Tours 4x4 and I'm sorry. The tour guide was not overly friendly and from start to finish he rushed everything. He didn't provide much information about the story or anything unless you asked him specifically about it and he didn't see that you enjoyed his work. He seems like he has been working too long and is bored of driving tourists. There are things that they say are included in the tour that are not, such as sandboarding and air conditioning in the accommodation. Either it didn't work well or it didn't have air conditioning like in the desert camp. I know this company has many different tour guides and people will have different experiences, but I have seen negative reviews posted on this page and the owner usually reports or pretends that the review is not for their business. So eventually it seems like this company only has good reviews, but actually all the bad ones go away. I paid a lot of money for this tour and I don't think they have delivered on the promised services or quality. I would definitely recommend avoiding this company and finding a better one elsewhere, that works more honestly and has better tour guides. Even though we did practically nothing on the third day of the tour, they still took us to a tourist restaurant to buy tajines, argan oil rugs and got me intoxicated because they served pink chicken. When we ended up paying tourist prices for higher quality, I didn't appreciate it at all. And I understand that tourists pay higher prices, but he took us to his friend's shop in the middle of nowhere so we could buy water and a sandwich. The shop charges us high prices and then the tour guide buys a whole bag of things for him for 10 dirhams right in front of us, and he even gets change! It's so disrespectful to buy a whole bag of stuff for yourself after you made us pay so much more and pretend it never happened. At least be honest😡

I am a few years late writing this review, we took this tour in October 2017, but nearly every week my wife and I still talk about it. I definitely recommend doing at least the 4 days, once you go to the Sahara you will never want to leave. The tour is well run, the scenery is beautiful but what really made the tour great was our guide Youssef, he is just an awesome genuine guy, who really cares about his community.

This was a fantastic trip for two mature singles in their Seventies. Two luxurious tents awaited us after a days journey through the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco and an overnight stay in a Riad. The second day took us to a desert rendezvous with our camel 1 hours journey to our camp in the dunes. Brilliant for every part of the journey. Food, places, experiences and a sure and interesting drive from our driver, Zaid. We spent a comfortable night in our luxury tents, with full facilities of a flush domestic style toilet, a shower and washbasin including hot water....in the desert dunes. Our evening meal in the restaurant and then breakfast in the sunshine on individual patios were very good. The welcome and service was excellent and we were sad to leave. I took the 4x4 back to a village meeting place, my travelling companion took a camel. Now, camels are dromedary’s, they have one hump! They are wide. I am not, so I’m afraid that I took the hump!!! Our return journey in a comfortable VW Transporter for two of us plus an overnight stay in a Riad was equally a good journay with visits en route to places of interest and we arrived back in Marrakesh by Dinnertime. This 4 day, 3 night trip is excellent, good value for money and a thrilling journey into the Sahara Desert. I recommend it highly. Do it and see!!! Evan Jones March 2020

We travelled to morocco for our honeymoon in february. We did a lot of it on our own catching the CTM buss and etc, however the most memorable part of our trip was this 4 day tour with this group. We had a personal car for the both of us. Yusuf, our tour guide was GODSENT!! He was so knowledgeable and friendly. Would even share with us the best spots for photos and etc. More than anything what we appreciated was their patience and advice when planning the 4 day tour. We were really cautious and scared about the accommodations and boy were we impressed with every place we slept at. Sahara dessert was the most anticipated part of our trip and honestly this tour group made it everything I can ask for. Thankyou Said for everything 🙏🏽
