4 of us booked a private cooking class here in Nov 2016. Location was a very charming and well equipped farm house. Very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable team. Michel and Elham are both treasures!!! We had a fantastic time and learned a lot about spices, local cuisine and culture. We could not help but to break out in dance a... More

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakech. Learning how to make couscous we will never go back to the 5 minute plain couscous again;) The recipes were great, learning about the different spices was really educating and some of the new techniques we learnt made their way into our home. Michel and Ilham were great teachers... More

I booked this course as I've always wanted to learn how to cook a Moroccan tagine. My daughter who came with me gave me a tagine on her first visit to Marrakech 4 years ago but this has never been used. The course came very highly recommended by Trip advisers reviewers and now I know why! Michel and team gave... More

This was one of the highlights of my trip. Learning about the different spices was an eye opener, especially the details about saffron and argon. Michelle and his team were amazing and i learned so much, not just about cooking Moroccan food and making the bread and crepes, but new techniques about preparing food as well. It was a great... I booked this on the recommendation of a friend, and all of the glowing reviews on here. As everyone has said, the day is lots of fun, the whole team at Faim d'espices is wonderful, we learnt how to make tagine, bread, pancakes and salads - much more than I had been expecting. My non-cook partner had a great time... More

We had a blast on this, we booked just a couple of days in advance and luckily there was room! We got picked up close to our Riad by Michel and taken maybe 20-25 minutes outside of the city to his farmhouse. The setup inside is very nice and open, and luckily our class was a great class as well.... More

Michel and his lovely wife made our stay in Marrakesh very special. The cooking class is more like an unforgettable cooking experience - full of flavors, colors and laughter. Learned so much about spices and cooking, everything was made with dedication and love - and we had the best meal of them all cooked by us and them - what... More

My wife booked this as a surprise for my birthday and what a surprise it was. Ilam and Michel are fantastic teachers. Learnt to cook some beautiful food and learn about buying and using spices while having great fun doing so. A must do while in Marrakech.....can't wait to revisit.

From a prompt pickup outside hotel to being dropped off afterwards I had a thoroughly lovely day. Michel a charming and amusing man led the day with chats on spices ,Argan oil and fake saffron detection. Followed by cooking demonstrations of how to , then leading to us doing. Entertaining us along the way Michel played his bongo drums with... More
