This older golf club is an enjoyable experience. The mature narrow fairways provide challenges and variety. We played as an experienced golfer and a relative novice, and both enjoyed the day. Afterwards, you can sit out in pleasant surroundings for lunch or a drink. It was our favourite out of the 5 courses we played during the holiday.

Straighforward gentle course, tree lined and well kept. Pleasant helpful staff, and nice open air restaurant afterwards

A classic, old style course. Not overly long therefore no need to take a driver on every tee. If you miss the fairway, you may well lose your ball although your caddy will do his utmost to find it. They are in the process of replacing the greens so there are currently 3 very new greens although the old ones... More

A short but very scenic golf course build for a king. The trees and plants make it a wondefull experience. A treatment that you won't be getting somewhere else. Friendly caddies. First tee off can be very intimidating as you're surrounded by tourists and other players. Felt like a PGA pro at the US Open. For God sake, walk the... More

Ancient charming golf course, more similar to a beautiful garden . Caddies are compulsory but not professional and not kind at all.

Hmmm, We played here despite the poor review from the guy who said one hole's much the same as the other etc. We had to give it a go because Al Maaden was hosting the European Ladies tour. Nonetheless, we were pleased for the change in plan. Al Maaden appeared open and sparse, where as the Royal is narrow and... More

we played here, shot the hole in one on the Bardot hole. preferred this course as the environment takes you through a lovely garden and not through a barren construction area like on amelkis. Old time atmosphere. Golf as it should be. Also super foods and wine. A bargain on the greenfee.

It's a golf course. If you're in Marrakech and you like to play golf then you're in luck because there are plenty of nice and interesting courses to try. Unfortunately, this relic of the 1920's should be at the bottom of your list as it just can't compete with the newer courses from a design, aesthetic or cost point of... More
