We booked this before our holiday and were not dissapointed.
Communication was excellent before, during and after. Our pick up was great, the overall quad experience was excellent with good quality machines, good safery gear, briefing and a 2 hour excurtion into the desert. All very exiliarating and good fun. We stopped a couple of times for photos and later for mint tea and pancakes (all included in the price) no hard sell at the end but you were free to purchase pics taken by the resident photographers if wanted; they would email them to you. - Tanks for a great experience guys!!

Amazing experience at the Agafay desert only half an hour from central Marrakesh. It was very easy to book and booked the For 1 driver & 1 passenger full day combo quad & camel experience, this included an amazing lunch and collection and drop off at the hotel. So no stresses at all.
Everyone is soo lovely and very helpful, spoken well in English and French.
Experienced a quad experience and Mahjoub was great in providing us a full speed drive and taking a lot of photos. This experience cannot be missed whilst you are at Marrakesh, I will recommend this company to everyone.
The camels were fully trained and well looked after. The camel experience is great for children too.
Everyone is soo lovely and very helpful, spoken well in English and French.
Experienced a quad experience and Mahjoub was great in providing us a full speed drive and taking a lot of photos. This experience cannot be missed whilst you are at Marrakesh, I will recommend this company to everyone.
The camels were fully trained and well looked after. The camel experience is great for children too.

I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed the store. Our hostess, Sahida, Spoke very good English and was very hospitable. She has let people into her home to generate a source of income to help support the women of her village. We learned so much about how the proper people and were able to go into the village itself. I heard they recommend this

My son and I had one of our best days in Morocco thanks to Simon and the crew at Dunes & Desert. We booked the quad ride in the desert and had a blast! Our driver picked us up exactly where we were told he would be, and he was right on time. After about a 40-minute drive from Marrakech, we arrived at the Dunes & Desert facility where they wasted no time in fitting us for helmets and goggles. Following about two minutes of practice and some instructions for driving, we were off into the desert. Despite the fact that neither my son nor I had ridden a quad before, we had no problems getting into the groove immediately. (The quads are automatic, which makes them super-easy to drive.) Simon had us zipping around s-curves and roaring up and down sand dunes in no time.
About halfway into the tour, we stopped for some delicious mint tea served in a Berber home, which was a nice break from the ride. Afterward, we hopped back on the quads for even more hills, twists, and turns. Following the ride, Simon used an air hose to blow off all the desert dust and sand...very thoughtful and much appreciated!
Afterward, our driver returned us to the same spot where he had picked us up...very efficient. This was truly a highlight of our Morocco trip, and I highly, highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you Simon and staff for a wonderful morning!

Excursion to the Ouzoud waterfalls by the Dunes et Desert organization: we were very satisfied with this excursion.
We traveled alone in an SUV with Lassen who was very punctual, very good driver, very friendly and very pleasant company. We talked a lot with him during the trip, so the 3 hours of driving passed very quickly.
At the Ouzoud waterfalls, we were taken care of by the local guide Abdoul who gave us an excellent time. He gave us a lot of very interesting information about the region and local customs. The hike was superb, the views magnificent, the meal excellent in a magnificent setting facing the waterfalls. Abdoul was very kind and very concerned about our well-being and safety. Here again the guide was there only for us.
We warmly thank these 2 people for giving us an excellent day that we will not soon forget.
We highly recommend this excursion which allows you to get out of the city and discover magnificent landscapes.

We had such a fab morning quad biking with Simo - we picked the half day trip and booking and communication were easy.
Got picked up bang on time, the driver very kindly stopped on the way so I could go to a pharmacy.
Once at the Dunes & Desert oasis we had a quick cup of tea, got togged up, the bikes were explained and we set off! I was a bit nervous but Simo was really kind and patient and gave me tips so I soon got my confidence up.
The scenery was really breathtaking, amazing considering we were not that far from Marrakech. We had some pictures and a video taken, both by their photographer and our own phones. After about 1h 45m we got back to base, had our air shower to get the dust off and were given more tea and lovely Moroccan pancakes :)
Photos were not aggressively sold (they were so good I bought them and I never buy photos!)
Then back to Marrakech, again on time.
This was a really fun morning out, just the right length of time and a brilliant set up. A nice break from the city in a beautiful landscape. Simo was great, so kind and patient, and all the staff lovely. Highly recommended!

We chose the half-day quad (2 passengers).
Our guide Abdel started slowly in order to find his feet then gave us maximum sensations: up and down dunes, peak speeds... while always keeping an eye on us. He even offered us at the end of the course to exchange the drivers for a cooler part for the less experienced. A few breaks to admire the panorama, and to cool off where Abdel took our photos without any worries. A photographer is also present and offers photos at a reasonable price.

Fabulous day in the desert with the desert with this Company. My daughter and I had the morning riding camels and after a great tagine lunch sitting we were two hours riding quad bikes. All our needs were catered for by the guides, stops for water, using our phones to take photos whenever we wanted, English speaking and lockers to store our bits and pieces if needed. I am 64 years old and was a little apprehensive but there was no need, we both felt very safe and cared for by the fantastic guides. We were not rushed and the day was totally relaxed. We were picked up from our Riad and dropped back afterwards. We did this on Christmas Day and was one of the most memorable christmases we have had.

Being with us for the whole day was a great pleasure, we were so happy to organize you a camel ride following by quad biking tour with a delicious lunch in between.
Give us a chance to see you as soon as possible otherwise in Agafay desert where we have just opened a new base, , Camel ride/ Quad biking will be fab there as well.

Brilliant experience!! We could not fault our morning trip to Agafay Desert with this company. The communication prior to pick up was good and the transfer from our hotel to the desert was efficient and the driver took care to drive safely. Abdel our guide was fantastic and gave us a great experience driving through the desert. The desert is beautifully peaceful.He was safety aware and gave you time to get familiar with the buggy before letting you go faster . You are out in the desert for approx two hours and then return to camp for morrocan tea and pancakes 😋great facility, toilets, sinks etc. Air blow dust off you at the end of the trip. Abdel was very patient and ensured both drivers got to drive the buggy. Would love to go back and do another experience - thank you ☺️

Quad bike tour with delicious pancakes and honey with traditional Moroccan tea afterwards.
This was booked as part of a tour organised by 'Explore Africa' staying in a luxury tent in the Agafay dessert. We were picked up and taken back again. Sam was our guide. He was engaging, skilled, knowledgeable, charming and spoke very good english. We felt very safe with his instructions and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great fun! Would recommend (and, we are almost pensioners). The photographer also took loads of fun pics at a very reasonable price. Everyone was generous with their time.

hey my son is 15 and turns 16 in october he has a good amount of experince on dirt bikes and quads and holds a learners permit with over 250 hours of driving experince would there be any exeption

We’ve booked a quad bike trip for the beginning of August in the morning. What would previous visitors recommend to wear. I know shorts are a no-go but will jeans be too thick?! Not sure what else my husband and sons will wear!

Depending on the weather, you can wear shorts or jeans. The company can provide you with coats against dust or water. Have fun!
