If you are interested in old pictures of Morocco or you want to feel the beauty and calm of this house kept in white colours, this is definately worth a visit. Nice upper terrace with a nice vieuw on the Marrakech roofs. My wife’s friend back home, told us that we should book their day trip to the Ourika Valley,... More

Well worth the walk to the museum, some great photos of Morroco's past, and a fabulous spot for views on the roof terrace, we were lucky enough to see the Atlas Mountains on a very clear day.

A small but very interesting museum with fascinating photos (most from around 1900-1930) of Morocco in days gone by. Well laid out and the roof top cafe is a pleasant place for a drink - they were not serving food when we visited at lunchtime.

As a photographer, I enjoyed this small, but inspirational gallery. It was quite cheap to enter and they sell food and drink on the top floor. The gallery was full of great photography from the late 1800's to the mid 1900's. The photographs were both aesthetically and emotionally impressive. If you're interested in art/photography or want a short break from... More

Aziz at Riad L'Orangerie recommended that we go here, and we were not disappointed- a great way to get a feel for the cultural history of Morocco - if you like photography, this museum will take your breath away!

Contray to TripAdvisor's map, this is not in Fes but in the heart of the Marrakech Medina, just up from Ali Ben Youssef Madrasa. There are three floors of wonderful photography from around Morocco from the 1890s which give you a sense of just how little the old town has changed (except for the damn motorbikes!). There is a terrace... More

Super little museum. A simple display of some great old photographs of Morocco dating back to late 1800's spread over a few floors of a traditional Riad. Little cafe on the roof has good view over the roof tops, although the menu very limited. Nice clean loo and good collection of postcards of the photo's on display as well as... More

Extremely nice proprietor. Lovely collection of old photos, and can purchase photos as well. Great rooftop view of the city.

After 4 hours of the Medina, we began trying to locate this museum. Not an easy task at all. We eventually found it and after paying our 40 Dirhams were entertained by the black and white images of Morocco/Marrakech. This was very interesting. The ticket does allow free revisits to this museum. The museum is naturally a cool place, after... More
