A nice quick overview of the history and people of Morocco, it's interesting to see how in some cases not much has changed. The building itself is lovely. I found the gift shop to be pricy but the photographs are definitely worth a look.

Make sure and watch the film on the upper level about the Berber people, great preparation for a trip to the Atlas mountains.

I'll have to return here as too much to absorb in an hour or two. The setting is a beautiful old riad, the perfect backdrop to the black and white portraits, cityscapes and shots of Marrakech as well as many other locations across Morocco. There's also a pretty little cafe on the top terrace, covered for shade. Highly recommended.

I was recommended to visit this interesting little museum which covers the history of photographers associated with Morocco. Worth a visit.

We popped in for 20 minutes en route to the tanneries. Well presented and fascinating exhibits. Also a great view from the rooftop cafe. It's a shame they didn't have any more modern/contemporary photos as well, but I suppose space is finite for the displays. Overall definitely worth a visit.

Honestly, I don't know what is so good about this museum that it has such good grades. The pictures are not really interesting, there are also not a lot of them. Very boring, even if you are a photography enthusiast. The only good part is the view from the roof.

This photography exhibition is superb. First rate presentation & interpretation. Wonderful black & white photos. We visited other museums including the palace, Marrakech Museum & Medersa but this was the best. Also terrific terrace cafe & not crowded. Highly recommended.

Cute museum in the medina, nice to pass time if you have run out of things to do! The photos are all black and white from the first French photographers who visited Morocco. Great little terrace with lovely food. Worth the €4 entrance fee.

This museum has a great catalogue of photos from the 1930s when a group of acclaimed European photographers went on a safari. All the photos are in black and white and this seems to make them even more atmospheric. There are also presentations about the photographers. I was most impressed by a historic documentary made when the first Europeans went... More
