The rooftop!

The pictures and the museum were great. Our experience was definitely rounded out by having lunch and mint tea on the rooftop patio. It has a fantastic view!

This lovely restored Riad provides a delightfully calm architectural backdrop to some powerfully evocative images offering a glimpse into Morocco's complex history, culture and people. Most of the photographs and documentary - showing fascinating 1950's expedition to Berber villages and Atlas Mountains - are by European photographers. Small, well curated and informative collection. Stunning panoramic views from pleasant roof top... More

What an interesting place to visit. A photographic history of Marrakesh presented in pleasant surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the travelogue film showing life in the berber villages in years gone by. The cafe on the roof has stunning views of the High Atlas and is a great place to relax over a mint tea. Well worth a look.

Some lovely photos and a bit of history. Nice for a gentle potter around with a cafe on the roof for tea at the end.

Wonderful selection of photos which tell stories of the past. The images are a great way to get a feel for where you are and the explanations that accompany some of the photos are truly enlightening. Apart from photography, there was a documentary showing, and the prints for sale in the shop were quite reasonable. The rooftop terrace was a... More

Great place to drop in.. Worth the 40dh. Lovely pictures, interesting snippets of information and offering an hour peace from the frantic hussel bussel outside.

The rooftop gives an epic view of the Atlas mountains from afar. The sun does not set directly on the mountains, but the overall rooftop experience was epic, because it was just the time of the evening prayers. The photos at the musuem itself are epic and very powerful. The girl, who sold us tickets said we could return with... More

Lovely photos with historical significance, whether looked at briefly (as we did) or in depth. More than that though, it's a great example of the old architecture (used to be where caravans of camels stopped!) and it has a lovely balcony view perfect for taking in the city over a coffee or cold drink. Definitely worth a look if you... More
