When our driver, Ali, picked us up at our riad in Marrakech for a 4 day Merzouga desert trip, we really were trusting these reviews that it was all going to be worthwhile — and he surpassed our expectations. From dealing with Mohammad on planning the trip and hotel choices to Ali's genuine enthusiasm & knowledge of the area this road trip was one for the memory books. Under most circumstances it can be hard to spend 4 days with a stranger, but Ali's easygoing nature and people skills made him feel like one of the family. The Merzouga desert is so beautiful it looks photoshopped and all of the natural beauty on the way out and back made the trip fly by. We stayed at a spectacular desert camp under the stars, rode camels, and went "sand boarding" on the hills -- I would have stayed there even longer if I could! When we had extra time on one of our drives, Ali stopped and took us on a short hike to a peak in Es Sfalat where the vista looked like something from a CGI film. We loved trying Moroccan cuisine -- like the "Berber pizza" -- and learning a lot about the history of Morocco's nomadic people from Ali. I am still overwhelmed with gratitude for Mohamed, who coordinated our tour, and Ali, who drove and guided us through the tour. By way of background, I booked a 4-day Sahara tour (round trip from/to Marrakesh) via e-mail with Mohamed, who proved to be a far better communicator than any of the competing tour companies with which I emailed (I spent multiple days agonizing over the decision re: desert tour booking). He always responded diligently to my many requests re: itinerary details, booking payments, and dietary restrictions. Once in Morocco, all of these plans came under significant stress because my husband and I (Americans) found out the night before our tour start that Morocco had just banned all air travel to AND from the country (due to the coronavirus pandemic), leading us to believe that we might be indefinitely trapped in Morocco if we could not make it to an evacuation flight. Mohamed handled my panic like a true professional, immediately agreeing to completely alter the tour for our new focus (which was to stay closer to the cities from which we might be evacuated)--so instead of a 4-day desert tour, we took a 3-day round-trip tour from Marrakesh to Casablanca, Rabat, and Chefchaouen. Even though the tour was dramatically altered with almost no notice, our driver/guide Ali was exceptionally kind and took us to amazing sites in each of those cities; Mohamed and Ali also arranged for us to stay in amazing hotels in Casablanca and Chefchaouen (again, very impressive given lack of notice). Ali was constantly working hard to make sure we were comfortable--one example was the way in which he always prepared our food and hotel servers to accommodate our vegan diets; he also took great photos/videos of us. Not only did Mohamed and Ali create this incredibly last-minute tour with grace, but they also blessed us with constant acts from kindness--from offering to welcome us into the homes of their families and friends for free stays (in the event we were unable to leave Morocco) to sending us the sweetest voice and photo messages once we successfully evacuated back home, these men were relentless in their care for us (and at great personal sacrifice, as I'm sure they longed to be caring for their own families during this difficult time). Not only would I recommend this tour company to any of my friends and family, but I can't wait to come back to Morocco and take our trip into the desert with Ali and Mohamed.…

This company made an unforgettable experience even more wonderful. Our driver Ali was the nicest guy, an excellent safe driver and very knowledgeable about the sights. The accommodations where near luxury standard (particularly in the desert and the final hotel) - we were blown away! I highly recommend these folks for your tour as I get the impression they aim for pretty high standards…

We had an incredible 3 days with our guide, Mohamed Boumeshoul, from Marrakech to Fez. He was very knowledgeable and took us to many great lookouts and local spots for lunch. He was very personable and happily accommodated all of our requests. The camel ride and evening in the dessert were both amazing. The tents were luxurious and we enjoyed evening song and dance around the fire after dinner. While it was a long trip with lots of time in the car, it is definitely worth it and we would highly recommend!…
