Trying to use the station website, sucks and you can buy ticket ahead of time. So no worries. There are usually seat to be had and the station itself is beautiful. The ticket sales are fast, but they do not take CC's so have dirham of you and if you don't there is an ATM. I would recommend the first... More

The train station in Marrakesh is beautifully decorated on the outside. It is not large so very manageable.

Fantastic modern architectural building, different league to the old station ( which is the CTM coach depot round the corner). Very helpful lady in the information office and buying a ticket no problem. Has got a KFC and McD inside as well. Easy to get to from the city centre by bus, 4MOD, with about four different buses passing close... More

The ONCF has a limited network , but if you travel first class, which is good value compared to many train networks you will pass through rural areas, The trains from Fes to Marrakech take about 7 hours but train travel to my view is always a delight. Remember to take some food that can easily be shared.

We walked through this area on the way to another attraction. It's the only time we felt unsafe in Marrakech. On the way back through on our return to our Riad we were followed by two men. To be fair, our Riad owner did say to avoid the area but we got a bit lost!

This train station is easy to use. It is large and spacious, well maintained, and signs are large and can be easily read. There are several convenience shops and snack shops, as well as free of charge toilets. I have had great experiences with the staff. The #19 bus is the airport bus, but it stops right in front of... The architecture of the station is absolutely astonishing. If you have the time to venture out to the sides of the city for a glance, make sure you do. There is not much to do whilst there, however the building itself is magnificent.
