This place is amazing. I honestly don’t know where to begin when speaking of the place and the people that are here. My friend And I came in late one night and as we walked up I couldn’t help but think how beautiful this place is. As we get to the door we were welcomed with open arms. As soon as we walked in we were asked if we needed food, water, tea or anything else. Hassan was the gentlemen that showed us to our room which was very spacious and very clean. After getting settled in the room Hassan came and let us know that dinner has been severed. He takes us to the main room where we started off with a wonderful soup and finished with a huge tajina that was perfectly prepared! After dinner we sat in a circle with other guest and had a wonderful jam session with Moroccan drums and guitar. The night was absolutely perfect! The next morning we woke up to a full Moroccan breakfast and the most amazing view of the Sahara desert! I would recommend this place over any other without a doubt. The place is beautiful in a beautiful location and the people are absolutely amazing! Thank you to everyone that works there And a huge thank you to Hassan for making our stay absolutely wonderful!

From the arrival airport to the departure we where always under straordinary care of Mr. Hassan, that took care of our preferences and tried with all efforts to satisfy our exigent will, good hotels, food, tour, quad and camel driving in the desert. Our 3 childrens will never forget this vacation. Will recommend this agency to all our friends visiting Marocco.

Katie was great in answering any questions that we had and helping us narrow down that this would be the company that will be providing tour services for us in Morocco. Also, she provided the driver contact information and accommodations a couple of weeks before the tour began.

We paid a small deposit via PayPal to reserve the tour. Thus, we ended up having to pay the remainder in euros which we didn’t feel comfortable about. Due to the fact, we had no recourse to get funds back in the event services weren’t provided. Nonetheless, we weren’t left stranded in Morocco and made it back home safe.

We had no issues with Mohammed, the first driver, picking us up from the airport and Yassin, the second driver, taking us to the airport. For the most part, Mohammed was waiting for us even though our flight was late arriving in Tangier. Also, Yassin was punctual in ensuring that we were at the airport in ample time to check our luggage in and make it through security.

Mohammed was very accommodating when we reached each destination in letting the Riad know that we were there. Employees of each Riad were very helpful in helping us get our luggage from\to the van to\from the Riad.

The three Riads that were booked for us were great and far beyond our expectations. That includes the dinner(s) and breakfasts that were provided. Furthermore, we didn’t encounter any issues. Also, it was easy to make it back to each Riad from shopping in the medina.

In Marrakech, they were very accommodating in finding a Riad for us to stay in at the last minute. Due to the fact, the hotel that they booked us in had excessive noise and a window that wouldn’t close that the hotel was unable to repair.

Large escorted group tours normally take their tour groups to their vendors. Thus, we were saddened that our escorted tour guides in Fes and Marrakech took us to their vendors and didn’t allow us an opportunity to purchase items that interested us nor take us to places that we expressed interest in. Furthermore, we felt as though we were under pressure to buy stuff from the tour guide vendors versus touring a city that we were under the assumption that we were paying the tour guide for.

When we went Volubilis, we didn't hire a tour guide. On account of, we have seen numerous ruins. However, if this is your first ruin that you're visiting, please hire a tour guide.

When we received our driver information, we were under the assumption that we would have the same driver throughout the whole tour. However, we were very surprised to find that Mohammed would not complete the remainder of the trip. Nonetheless, Yassin was perfect and superb in every way imagined. Thus, it made the change in drivers a moot point. Lastly, we felt far more comfortable with him than our first driver.

We ate lunch throughout this trip, except 1 day, around 2 p.m. or later. It would’ve been great had Mohammed asked our preference at the beginning of the tour as to what time we would like to have lunch so that we wouldn’t have eaten dinner so late. Also, it would’ve been good if Mohammed had taken us to restaurants that were willing to provide services versus ignore our request for services. Lastly, we were saddened that we had paid a tip to a waiter at a restaurant in Casablanca and Mohammed asked us to tip another waiter there in which we refused to do so.

I would recommend this company with the following changes: a consistent driver throughout the tour, customers are taken to restaurants that want to provide services and are honest, and tour guides that focus on their customer’s versus padding their pockets.

We booked a 6-day tour with 2 days notice. Hassan was very helpful in booking the tour and giving tips on how to maximize our time. The Riads booked are very clean but authentic, and the walking tour guides are very knowledgeable especially the guide from Marrakech.

The best part of the tour is our driver and guide - Mohamed. He is very hospitable, and dedicated in making sure we get the most out of our trip. He is also very attentive and accomodating, adjusting the itinerary as we need.

Because we live in Germany (we are Americans), we travel in Europe often. We plan our own itineraries, relying on guidebooks and Trip Advisor; reserve our own hotels and restaurants; and arrange for rental cars or public transportation. Thus, we had no previous experience with a tour company. We are very, very happy that we secured Chefchaouen Morocco Tours for this trip. They tailored our itinerary to include Marrakech, Dades Gorge, camel/desert experience, Fes, Chefchaouen, and Casablanca, so don’t let the name of the company mislead you into thinking that they operate in only one city. We loved our driver, Abdul! He was pleasant, insightful, patient with our idiosyncrasies, and eager to grant our requests. All of our lodging was excellent. However, I selected Chefchaouen Morocco Tours because I understood that most of our accommodations would be riads (vs hotels) since we particularly wanted that experience. Unfortunately, we got to stay in only one riad out of 5 accommodations because I committed too late (2 months out). Be aware that if you stay in a hotel more than one night, you will have dinner there each night, which was a disappointment to someone like me who likes to try a variety of restaurants. It was great to have Chefchaouen Morocco Tours obtain local guides in Marrakech, Tinghir, and Fes. (I believe the system does not allow the company to specify individual guides.) Be aware, though, that these guides incorporate selling into their tours. For example, the interesting demonstration of Berber carpet-making included a long presentation of the carpets available for sale, the fascinating visit to the pottery workshop ended in the sales showroom, and the tannery operation that I wanted to see was only possible via the leather store. Throughout our 9-day trip, we felt that the staff of Chefchaouen Morocco Tours did everything possible make sure we were satisfied, and we were! The manager helped us with a passport problem which we would not have been able to solve on our own. I would highly recommend this company.

This is our first trip to north Africa and we are amazed by your beautiful country (Morocco) and the people.
From the beginning of the tour, start from Casablanca to Rabat, then to Meknes, Volubilis, Fes, Chefchaouen, Tangier, Assilah, Essaouira, Marrakech, then go back to Casablanca, we always with Aziz as our driver. He is experience driver, very helpful, very patient and caring.
Our tour guide in Fes (Tami) and Abdellah (in Marrakech) are very good, explained things that we need to know.
Thanks for the hospitality of the Riads and hotel staffs, and Hassan who arranged the room for us.
All of these will be ingrave in our heart, then bring to our country and recommend to our friends and family
Regards from Indonesia

Great hostel, nice people, cool staff!
I had a great trip from Fez to the desert village with a local taxi.
It went through the Andes with stunning views.
Arriving in the hostel it feels like a little oase.
I really enjoyed my time, especially the camel tour through the Sahara.
We spent 1 night in a nomad camp in the desert with dinner, tea, drum playing...
Next morning we came back and went back to Fez.
Great experience!

Hassan took care of my cousin and I while we were here for 3 nights. We spent 2 nights in the desert which I advise you do too. We arrived from a long car ride from Fez and after dinner, sunset/sunrise photo ops, the people who only booked one night left early in the morning to continue on with their travels. We had a great day at the camp site where sandboarding was available and the opportunity to safely walk around and explore the dunes. The following night was spent in a Berber village 1 hour camel ride away. Meals included all along the way. The hotel at the main outpost is a great spot to be away from the bustle of the northern cities with an amazing view of the desert. There is even a pool. I would recommend this hotel if you are spending extended time in the desert or traveling thru the area.
