Mohamed ait alla was the guide for our group of 14 during a three week tour of a large part of Morocco. His breadth of knowledge and ability to clearly and concisely explain his country's customs, geography, religion and history were exceptional. His organization, patience and sense of humor were remarkable as well. We left feeling we had really gotten to know the beautiful country of Morocco and it's delightful people.

With Mohamed & Desert Tours Morocco we were able to personalise a week tour of Morocco which incorporated all the places we wanted to see. He took care of transport and accomodation - the hotels and riads we stayed in were spectacular! Mohamed was an excellent tour guide - his knowledge of Morocco, his professional manner and great sense of humour meant our group of 3 had a memorable time. Thanks to Mohamed and his awesome driver, we will be recommending you to all our friends.

We got to know Mohammed on a tour about a year ago and were delighted with his knowledge, friendship and great service. Within a very short time, he will be your friend and will continue to stay in touch after you have left Morocco. He knows everybody and everything that makes a trip great.

We had an excellent time during our tour.
Mohamed arranged a high standard of accommodation for us and the meals we had beautifully show cased Morocco's unique cuisine.
The tour had the perfect balance of sight seeing and relaxation.
I would highly recommend Mohamed as a tour guide if you were looking for a comfortable and unique experience in Morocco.

We were blessed to have Mohamed as our trip leader/program director on our recent tour of Morocco. He was with us for several weeks and could not have been more thorough, attentive or knowledgeable. He handled all our needs and demonstrated his vast knowledge about Morocco’s past and present history and challenges.

My wife and I recently returned from a tour of Morocco. Our intrepid group of 14 travelers was led by the amazing Mohamed Ait alla. For three weeks Mohamed guided us through his beautiful country with a constant stream of information which enlightened us regarding local culture, politics, food, technology, religion, nature, local customs, and the national education system. Mohamed is an extremely gregarious individual and instantly connected with the many locals we met along the way. There is no doubt that one's guide can make or break one's trip. Mohamed definitely made our trip an unforgettable experience

Mohamed ait alla is an exceptional guide, not just for his upbeat and joyful approach to life and living, but due to the warm relationships he shares with the many locals who adore him. And because he is their friend, you are too, opening experiences otherwise not likely to be available. Whether you are overnight in the Sahara, visiting a date farm or the women's co-op bakery, dodging donkey carts in the souk or sharing bread in a nomad's tent, Mohamed will make it memorable and fun.

Morocco, one of my favourite countries I have visited to date under the expert guidance of Mohamed Ait Alla. I’d heard great things about Morocco and was worried that it wouldn’t live up to expectations, but Morocco not only lived up to expectations, it exceeded my expectations and a lot was due to the fact that I had Mohamed as a guide. He’s extremely knowledgeable about all things Moroccan and always spoke with pride and passion, whether it be about the culture, architecture, breathtaking landscapes or the artisans and their craft. Mohamed always made sure we were well looked after and worked tirelessly to organise activities and answer questions. He made sure to check-in on travellers who were feeling slightly under the weather and went above and beyond to track down a fellow traveller’s missing wedding ring (which was eventually found and returned). I also thoroughly enjoyed Mohamed’s quick wit and sense of humour, which meant there was never a dull moment on the trip. I’d do another tour of Morocco with Mohamed as my guide in a heartbeat!

Over the summer I traveled to five countries by myself for about two months and my trip to Morocco was by far my favorite country and experience. I truly believe that if I had a different tour guide it could have been a different story; I was lucky to have the best of the best! Mohamed Ait Alla lead my group from Casablanca to Marrakech on a 15 day tour around the country. From the moment I arrived at our meeting point, Mohamed's professionalism and demeanor made me feel comfortable and included. He is great at reading different personalities and managing group dynamics. Mohamed is an open book and you can really ask him anything you want to know about Morocco or himself, don't be shy! He's been doing tours for 11 years and takes great pride in being able to provide answers for visitors. If he doesn't know the answer to a question you have (quite unlikely) he will make sure to do some research and get back to you. The tour itself was extremely well organized but also flexible to the needs/wants of the group. Mohamed always made sure to ask the group how they were feeling and provided a variety of options and activities to do. If you want to get a more intimate look at Morocco, this is the tour company to go with. You will meet local artisans, learn extensive historical and cultural information, have tea in peoples' homes and get to know people in each city you go to. Another important factor to mention is that Mohamed does a great job at foreseeing the needs of his guests... bathroom breaks, meal breaks, stretch breaks, rest breaks etc are all extremely well thought out and planned. My trip to Morocco was a magical experience. I would recommend Mohamed and Desert Tours Morocco to anyone and everyone I know. It's an experience you don't want to miss out on!

My friend and I had a great time travelling in our tour group with Mohammed Ait Alla as our guide from Marrakesh to Casablanca. A day before our tour I tore a ligament in my foot which was super sore! Mohammed was consistently helpful and friendly, and struck me as someone very experienced! He has a great sense of humour and our group was fun. Highly recommend him as a guide, shukran! :)
