I recently completed a 4 day tour from Marrakech to Chefchaouen including Merzouga desert experience and would like to thank this company for a great trip. My driver Fo Fo was not only my driver but my guide and my friend, we philosophised about all things in life and even when we had some trouble with a difficult hotel owner in Merzouga, both Mohammed and Fo Fo supported me and even provided additional complimentary lunch and dinner to help compensate. Mohammed handled matters with utmost professionalism and I would recommend Local Morocco Tours to anyone planning to tour Morocco in future.

We had a beautiful 8 days Morocco tour. A demanding itinerary made up of several stages. In fact, the program included overnight stays in various locations with stops in restaurants for lunch and guided tours. Such a trip is not easy to organize and foresee possible problems. For this we have to thank you the assistance of Mohamed of Local Morocco Tours who planned and organized the various stops. He supported us 24/7 and was always very helpful keeping in contact with us via Whatsapp and helping us when we decided on a change in the itinerary as we were travelling.
Another big thank you goes to Karim who physically accompanied us all week and who made us discover wonderful places. Karim is a very attentive driver and at the same time he is a professionale guide who gave us explanation about the places we visited. Futhermore he always took care to check the accurancy of the reservations and also in the restaurants he always checked that they made us pay the right amount.
As far as we are concerned the combination of Mohamed behind the scenes and Karim with us was a winner. Thanks for everything.
We have only 2 suggestions to give that do not jeopardize the success of our trip:
1- Cash in Morocco still many places, including some riads ( i.e. in Fes) prefer cash to credit cards. this was sometimes an inconvenience for us. Our suggestion is to advise you to bring cash to change into Dirhams at the airport considering that an excellent meal costs around 120 dirhams per person ( about 12 euros) and that for an Hammam in a riad they can ask you up to 30 euro per person.
2- Souk in Marrakech and Fes we visited them with a local guides who made us discover and walk through the intricate and suggestive narrow streets of the Medina. the local guides also take you to shops selected by them for any purchases of handicraft products. Our Advice is not to use that scarf shop in Marrakech anymore because they charged us very high prives ( a scarf costs 30 euros !!!) and they also fade the colour. We had just arrived and the tiredness of the journey and the non-habit to bargaining put us in difficulty. If you want to buy handicrafts in Morocco ( scarves, leather products, carpets..) pls do it but before leaving get an idea of the prices they can ask you to avoid being fleeced.

Muhammad is the most awesome guide ever. He made our travel easy by arranging the entire transportation, itinerary and hotel stays in great places at a very reasonable price. He is a certified guide and a very easy going person.
Travelling with a family and a small child is cumbersome especially when your new to a place but Muhammad made our trip smooth without any problems. He planned out everything very well and was extremely knowledgeable on all the historic sites, culture and quisine of the area. He knows five different languages and was very easy to follow and understand. The only way we were able to do a trip that normally takes 8 days and shrink it into 6 days was because of of our excellent guide Muhammad.
I recommend Muhammad highly and without any reservations for arranging your tour itinerary. He can customize this to whatever you like to do.

This was the first time I had travelled with Local Morocco tours The expert guide who accompanied us Mr Mohammed was outstanding - passionate, informative, engaging and entertaining. The itinerary was very well thought out, combining leisure time with activity The client is obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning, and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, educational holiday with fine food - they will deliver!

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids.
Mohammad from Local Morocco Tours assisted us from the get go until the end of our trip.
- Helped us plan our 7 day itinerary
- Managed our transportation
- Assisted with our hotel reservation
We found him to be very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He provided us with insights into the history, culture and tradition.
We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend using their services for an amazing Moroccan experience.

We are a couple just finished our 14 days Morocco trip with Local Morocco Tours in December 2022. Overall our trip arranged by Mohamad was great. He always response fast and have been very helpful.
As usual, i have contacted around 10 local travel agencies for quotations with my own itineraries. Mohamad reacted very fast and being very flexible and helpful. And i also prefer the cash on arrival payment term due to the covid period experience before. After few rounds of emails exchange with few agents, we decided to engage Mohamad.
The car was big and comfortable. Driver Karim drives safely and always on time. All the hotels are excellent during our trip. Our sahara trip was great and love the camel rides and the luxury camp in the desert.
However, few points for improvement:
1. Few of the hotels were changed compared to our quotation, while they are all excellent, but it would be better if Mohamad had informed us earlier. As i did asked few times before our departure time and he always said nothing changes. Hotels listed on quotation was one of the reasons for our consideration. I checked them one by one for reviews too. Again, it is the communication part i would appreciate, the hotels chosen were all excellent for our trip.
2. We got a traffic ticket of 300 MAD for “not wearing seatbelts” at the back seats. It was the 4th day of our trip and we had passed through so many checkpoints before, not once our driver Karim mentioned to us it is an offence in Morocco for not wearing seatbelts at the back. In our residing country, it is not a law, hence we are not used to it (do not have the habit while seating at the back). When we told Mohamed about it, he mentioned he will absorb it, but when we made payment one day after the incident, he didn’t deduct the fee and didn’t mentioned about it at all.
3. Lunch was not included in our tour package. Sometimes we arrived our place earlier and we will settle ourself. Local foods are generally cheap and cheerful. But many times it is half way of our journey then our driver will bring us to “certain” restaurants. Often they are way overpriced, and there is nothing else nearby we can change. And he will not tell us the menu price before bringing us there (normally is one fixed price for few courses or buffet style, no Ala carte menu, range from 150-250 MAD per pax). Until the 3rd times i raised my concerns on the overpriced meals, then the restaurants later were around 100-150 MAD, still not cheap but much reasonable. On our own we always spent around 40-70 MAD per meal only.
As an experienced backpacker i rely on trip reviews a lot for my trip planning. So i always try to keep my review as honest as i can. I would still highly recommend Mohamad for Morocco experience and in fact has shared the contact to few of my friends asking about our fabulous trip!

- regarding the traffic ticket of 300 MAD for “not wearing seatbelts you paid, please note that it's mandatory to wear the seatbelts not only in Morocco but in all parts of the world.
- regarding Lunch, price of meals depends on the location, how clean is tge restaurant, so most of time we recommend safe places for your safety, as there cheap places that makes you sick.

I’ve travelled to Morocco with my friends in order to celebrate the end of our degree. We were 12.
I contacted the company and I am so glad I trusted them.
They have been very close and polite. We needed their service so that we can travel between Marrakech, Rabat and Casablanca and the airports and it resulted a super safe and trustable way of transport.
The driver was waiting for us at the airport and he guided us to the main door of the hotel, waiting until we were properly located. Then we continued with him during our trip. I totally recommend their service.

We booked a private tour for our family of 4 with Mohammed and highly recommend it. He arranged for a professional driver (Karim) who spoke very good english and was alot of fun on the trip. We had a large Mercedes Sprinter type Van to ourselves for the entire trip which was. Mohammed took care of all the details and booked us into very nice Riads and hotels. He also arranged for city guides in Fez and Marrakech who were fantastic. He also arranged for a cooking class for my wife an daughters. We made a few changes to the trip (upgraded our tent camp in Merzouga for example) which he handled quickly before the trip. He was very responsive on emails before the trip as well
Most importantly, Mohammed was very good about knowing when we wanted to learn more about the country and when we needed some space to explore on our own. We felt very comfortable with him.

We had a wonderful time in Morocco. It was an experience to remember with so much to see and cover in one week. The food , the culture, the architecture, the history and the artisans we met will be etched in our memories. Mohammad was an awesome tour guide who ensured we made the most of the trip, we stuck to time and we covered the trip with ease and he had planned everything to perfection. We would highly recommend him to anyone that’s planning a family holiday to Morocco !

We scheduled a private 27-day trip of Morocco to encompass all the usual listed tourist places plus some less visited ones. Mohamed and I worked on a detailed itinerary and he managed to book some excellent rooms in superior riads. Most of the trip we had the fortune of Mohamed's presence besides Khareem, our driver who couples a pleasant personality with great driving skills. Whenever we had guided tours it was done by a local guide hired by Local Morocco Tours which is a practice I highly recommend. Whenever we were picked up, our guys with their comfortable Mercedes van were there always early which we much appreciated.
All in all, I can warmly endorse the services of Local Morocco Tours to anyone contemplating a visit to this country with its fascinating culture and history.
