Book a bicycle tour with us. Together we will explore Marrakech by bike. We have designed the best cycling experiences in the city where we were born and grew up. Bicycles provide a unique way to explore the city. You will have lasting memories of the roads you bike, the people you meet and the sites you visit. Have fun, bike the roads less traveled, all while keeping it green". Our goal is to reinforce the importance of responsible tourism by introducing bicycles to both the local community and tourists. Bicycles are the ultimate alternative in transportation. The team develops innovative projects, locally and nationally, involving revenue-creating activities to open more employment opportunities for people in our community with barriers to employment. So we offer free Workshops on repairing and maintaining bikes, traffic safety workshops, cycling classes , and more.

My husband and I did the city discovery tour on New Years Day. It was a brilliant way to get our bearings as this was our first visit to Marrakech. We learned so much about the city’s history, architecture, arts and culture, Abdel was really knowledgable. He kept us safe navigating through the busy traffic and packed souks. We stopped for orange juice in Jama El f’na and at a local bakery to sample a local loaf and see how it was made. I highly recommend this tour to anyone. I don’t have much experience on bicycles but I managed just fine. I loved every minute.

Marrakech Green Wheels was an amazing way to see the sights of Marrakech .. our guide Armena kept us safe and was so knowledgeable about Moroccan history and culture.. highly recommend this experience.. helmets are provided for safety and the bikes are in great working condition.

We tailor made a tour that took in old town and gardens- great guides, learnt a lot and experienced way more of the real Marrakech than we ever would have on foot or in a taxi. It was great fun and a really memorable excursion. Great guys, good bikes and worth the money.

My experience was great. We (a family of 4 adults) have seen a lot of the city. And we visited some local spots (a bakery) and our guide told us a lot of interesting storys.

Booked directly via their website and their communication was great. Easy to find and good quality bikes. We booked a group tour but unexpectedly we were the only ones on it, so we had a private tour. Hussan was our guide he was very informative and answered all our questions. A really good way to see the city, we certainly went to parts that we wouldn't have known about or bothered going to if we were left to our own decisions. Worth every penny, a morning well spent. Recommended.

We reserved 2 spots for the bike and cooking tour. What a delightful experience. We started our tour by bike riding to a Riad to prepare our lunch. We were helped by Hassan, who was so engaging. After we were finished preparing our meal, Salma, our guide, took us for a fantastic bike ride around Marrakech. We ended the tour back at the Riad were we were able to eat the meal we prepared. Everyone at Green Wheels was so friendly and accommodating. We had such a fun time and would highly recommend this company.

A big thanks to Marrakesh Green Wheels team for this great cycling experience. Redouan our guide knew a lot and shared a lot during our cycling tour. We learnt a lot about Morocco and its culture. The tour was a lot of fun. Cycling through Marrakesh is definitely a great adventure

This bike tour was wonderful, and I am so happy I have this experience of Marrakech! Like another reviewer, I was a bit apprehensive of taking a bike tour of the city because I am not a frequent bike rider. Adil, the tour guide, was helpful in making me feel more comfortable with biking through the city, and gave me advice on the best way to bike and follow his directions.
When I arrived to the meeting place, Adil made sure everyone had a bike the right height, as well as helmets and lights (since this tour took place from before sunset to after sunset). The bike tour went smoothly, and navigating the city by bike was much easier with an experienced guide. We visited and learned about many places I had never visited in my time in Marrakech. Adil took us to an area where there was a Church and a Mosque across the street from each other. This was amazing as they both were constructed in similar styles, and from the outside, I had no idea they were not both mosques. It was a great example of the complexity of life here. We also were able to stop and see a water and light show, which was an awesome sight and a relaxing break in the middle of the tour.
I could go on and on about the tour because it was just wonderful. I hope that in my time in Marrakech, I will have time to take more tours through the city. Even for those who are not experienced bikers (like me), I would definitely recommend Marrakech Green Wheels to anyone looking to have a great time exploring Marrakech!

My family of two adults and two children (aged 10 and 11) booked the City Discovery Tour with Marrakech Green Wheels. It was a little difficult to book via the website so I contacted them by email and received a very speedy reply and found it easy to make the booking. Our tour started at 9am which meant the roads were a bit quieter. We cycled around the medina then headed out to the new town to experience the difference. Despite the obvious issues with safety on Moroccan road we didn't have any problems, and it all just kind of works. Our guide was very helpful and answered all our questions! I just wished the tour was a little longer as we enjoyed it so much. While rental bikes are available on the street in the new town (like the Boris bikes in London), it would be brilliant to be able to rent bikes in the Medina.

Highly recommend it. The bike was comfortable and easy to ride. You bike through the old city and get a good feel for the geography.
