I can't imagine a better way to experience Morocco than with Morocco Immersion. From my first interaction with Nihad, I was impressed. She crafted an itinerary that perfectly matched our interests and exceeded expectations, even handling last-minute changes effortlessly. Nihad was always responsive, answering all my questions—even late at night.
We booked a 12-day tour with our own tour manager/driver. Thanks to Morocco Immersion’s connections, we stayed in the best riads, had top local guides, and enjoyed luxury at a reasonable price.
Our guide, Omar, quickly became more than just a guide—by the end, he was a lifelong friend. He made us feel at home from day one, helping us navigate the culture, people, and customs. One evening, after we ventured too far from our riad, Omar went out of his way to pick us up, even after his day was done. His care and hospitality were unmatched. Omar also surprised us by acting as our personal videographer, capturing special moments and editing short video clips for us. Saying goodbye at the airport was tough, but we left knowing we had made a true friend.
Morocco Immersion treated us like family. We were welcomed into their homes, shared meals, and experienced their incredible hospitality throughout. Locals we met spoke highly of the team, reaffirming that we made the right choice. We felt blessed to be in their care and, though I selfishly wanted to keep this amazing agency a secret, the world deserves to know how incredible they are and how to experience Morocco the right way.

Having previously travelled with Morocco Immersion Tours and Adventures on trips to both Morocco and East Africa, I always look forward to joining their tours.
These small group adventures are well planned, and expertly executed, and having a seasoned Tour Manager such as Amnay made our experience even more personal and highly enjoyable.
This was my third ‘photography immersion’ tour of Morocco, of which I acted as the photography guide for both thia and the past outing. As a photographer and guide, even with all the advanced planning, sometimes things go wrong (last year it was the tragic earthquake), timing is off due to long travel distances, or the weather decides not to co-operate (this year heavy rains, flooding and road closures), however, our Tour Manager always kept us well informed, and solicited our input into any adjustments or changes to our itinerary.
Overall, the 2024 Tour was excellent, with great weather, smooth travel, the Imperial Cities, grand palaces, stunning monuments, fantastic accomodations, delicious meals, awesome music, and the coffee! What more can I say, other than our group throughly enjoyed the destinations, the history, cultural diversity and overall experiences shared during this adventure.
We were also able to enjoy a cooking class on our final day in Essaouira, where we joined Khadija and Houcine at Khadija's Kuzina, starting with Houcine taking us for a walk through the souks purchasing the many ingredients of meat, vegetables and fruits for our traditional Moroccan recipe preparation. Our lesson was to include fresh baked bread, Moroccan salad, lemon chicken tagine and a couscous of ckicken, pumpkin, onions and raisons.....what a warm welcome being invited into their home to share in an authentic experience, and of course our dishes were so delicious!
Again, words cannot capture the realistic, authentic, and sometimes raw experiences that this tour offers….every day was a different Morocco!
Thanks again to Amnay, Sharon and Abdou of Morocco Immersion Tours and Adventures for making this another successful adventure!
Cheers Bernie, Photographer & Guide

I can't say enough about our recent trip to Morocco -- I went with my best high school friend. Before we went, I imagined touching down in some major cities, doing some shopping, and riding a camel. Little did I know that I was about to go on a road trip of the most diverse towns I've ever visited, being warmly embraced by locals every step of the way. Sharon introduced us to the potential of the trip with a Zoom meeting that allowed us to have confidence that all of our needs would be looked after. Our riads (hotels) were the ultimate in boutique hotels -- my favourite was Le Grand Alcazar in Fes that was once a small palace -- my friend loved the Riad Madu Premium "Camp" in the Sahara (by camel!) that wasn't like any kind of "camping" I had ever done, except maybe for the campfire under the stars. The trip wouldn't have been the same without the hand-selected, polite, fun, highly informed tour guides in each town, who showed us the history and catered to our interests for hours at a time. But above all, we were very lucky to have been catered to by our tour manager and driver, Abdelhadi. My friend and I were travelling for a "mature" birthday, but we're very young at heart, and we found our perfect tour match in Abdel. We had constant laughs while passing through incredible countryside of mountain ranges, ancient towns, and desert. Everyone told us "be safe" before our trip, being two women, but even after the first 2 days we knew we had nothing to worry about -- not only were the locals very friendly and welcoming, Abdel told us whether we could feel confident walking a town alone at night, took care of language barriers, and literally handed us off from hotel manager to tour guide to restaurant (chosen by Abdel with great experience and care, not to be too touristy, even in one case helping a single mom proprietor). Our tour manager won't be able to shake us as lifelong friends. And hey, can I say this? That touring an entire country for 2 weeks personally for 2 women, being treated like a
VIP, was not too expensive?? How does MOROCCO IMMERSION do it??? Sharon says they're branching out to new trips, and I look forward to travelling with them again.

I joined a friend on her 16 day Moroccan adventure that had been curated by Sharon.
From the moment we were picked up by our Guide & driver Sallam to the moment we were returned to the airport was brilliant.
Our Moroccan trip was nothing short of a wonderful experience we travelled just under 4000km with Sallam, he was well versed in all Moroccan history, society and culture, he was flexible and nothing was ever a problem and most of all was always ready to have a laugh.
We got to experience riding a camel over dunes at sunset, tagines spiked with saffron, watch amazing people herd goats on the slopes of the High Atlas, get lost in the Medina of Fes, wonder ancient desert cities ,be in ore of the blue and white city of Chefchaouen or walking the wind battered port of Essaouira so much on offer.
Can’t wait to return to Morocco someday and continue exploring.

Morocco Immersion Tours and Adventures is outstanding and we would recommend them without hesitation. We had a wonderful trip with them in Spring 2024! Despite our last minute booking, the team worked hard to put together a truly special itinerary that met all our specifications. They made sure we saw all the highlights, stayed in great hotels, ate wonderful food and had plenty of time to take in all that Morocco had to offer. Our tour manager Amney was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend booking a trip with this company.

Friends who had toured with Morocco Immersions in 2023 came home singing their praises, SO...when the four of us ladies decided to visit Morocco for two weeks in 2024, we also booked with them...and are glad we did! From the start in planning our trip, Sharon took into account what we knew we wanted to see and then, learning of our interests, suggested other experiences she thought we would enjoy. Besides visiting known Moroccan points of interest like the beautiful Blue City of Chefchaouen, riding camels in Erg Chebbi and walking the ruins of Air Zineb, we loved learning how to make pastilla in Marrakesh, feeding monkeys in Ben Smim, dining overlooking the magical city of Fez and shopping in local markets for dinners that were prepared especially for us. We try much liked our guide Amnay and our drivers. (If you end up with Amnay, ask him to sing for you! You can find him on YouTube.)

We had a great experience in Morocco. Hicham was an outstanding guide, knowledgable, attentive and fun to spend time with. From the initial planning process Sharon was a great help, we had a short timeline, but wanted to experience as much as possible. With her recommendation, we focused on Southeast Morocco exploring Marrakech, Dades Valley, Merzouga and the sand dunes.
It truly felt like we were exploring Morocco off the beaten path, visiting local villages and learning the history and culture of the Amazigh (Berber) people. Our time in these more remote areas provided a really unique and lovely experience.
Great accommodations from start to finish, kind and knowledgeable local guides, beautiful scenery, great local experiences (souks, homestays), all curated by Hicham.
We would highly recommend booking with Morocco Immersion Tours & Adventures if your looking for an authentic custom experience in Morocco.

Working with Sharon at Morocco Immersion Tours was the first step in creating our unforgetable adventure through this incredible country. We had a great mix of guided time and time on our own.
Omar, our tour director, was knowledgeable and accommodating, constantly discussing options to maximize our time there. The riads in which we stayed were amazing. The local guides, Said, Mohammed and Sallem, presented their respective cities in interesting ways, providing in-depth views of their history and culture.
We weren't sure what to expect. This tour exceeded anything we could have imagined.

I can honestly say that this was one of the best trips I’ve gone on in my entire life. This is the second tour that I’ve done with Morocco Immersion and the quality has been consistently AMAZING. The planning and communication were very professional and stress free. I’m a 20 year old college student that went to Morocco with a few friends as a “girls trip” and we had such an amazing time. Our tour guide Amnay was the most friendly, fun, and sweet person. He was so attentive and really made us feel like we were part of the family, we could not have asked for a better guide. Additionally, he was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer every question we had. This is also true for all the local guides, who treated us so kindly and provided us with so much valuable information. This trip was filled with laughter and great memories that my friends and I will carry for life. We were able to see so many beautiful parts of this country; from the stars in the Sahara to the monkeys in the Atlas Mountains. There truly is something here for everyone and I cannot wait to return and do another tour with this fantastic company!!

Our driver Abdelhadi was incredible! Perfect English, and an incredibly safe driver, we enjoyed our time with him!
Highlights:
Casablanca Mosque - Hassan II
Rabat - Wish we had a full day here to explore
Chefchaouen- The blue city was gorgeous, wish we had more than 24 hours here to explore. We stayed at the Lina Ryad and Spa; the inside pool was incredible! Such a gorgeous place to stay. Be sure to call ahead if you are interested in receiving a spa treatment.
Fez - Riad Farouzi Fez was the most beautiful riad and telework I have ever seen! We especially loved Badar who works at the hotel! Our Fez tour guide Sayed was so knowledgeable and relatable, the tour would’ve been overwhelming without him.
Merida Sahara - AMAZING! We rode camels into the camp and took a 4x4 on the way out. Such a gorgeous Riad that looked like an anthroplogie catalog - Riad Madu Premium Camp is highly recommended! Again, wish we stayed another day.
Valley of the Roses (Boumalne Dades) - Relaxing and enjoyed time meeting with the locals for couscous. This is also the home to our wonderful driver, Abdelhadi. We were so fortunate to meet his family for tea. This was truly one of the best experiences of our entire trip!
Michelle and Hussein’s Kazbah Tiziri is so beautiful, I want to come back in the summer or spring to use the pool and eat and read in the garden. My family and I learned so much from Michelle, she is an incredible woman, host, and cook!
Marrakech- The most modern feel of all the cities. Our tour guide Amnay was amazing, and a local musician! He showed us exactly what we were interested in, and was so helpful and patient while we shopped. Riad Diamond of Marrakech was gorgeous. As beautiful tile work as Fes and Chefchaouen, and the perfect location to walk to the sites, restaurants, and bars of Marrakech.
My family and I loved our tailored trip to Morocco. We cannot recommend our driver, Abdelhadi enough!
