The sheer amount of work put in by the artisans many centuries back to create this place is mind blowing.. Not an inch of wall is plain, carvings, engraved wood, colorful tiles, sculpted marble are all over.. Though it is a small place in one of the small lanes onside the Medina it is an experience.. IT was a nice experience To visit this place Were you feel very surprised to discover this original islamik architecture with a very fine plaster work , also the til was very traditional, we like it so much thanks a lot.

We stumbled upon this medersa by mistake, as we were trying to find our way to the Attarine. The gatekeeper waved to us to go in and he said that this medersa "is like a jewel." And indeed it was. As of the end of 2014, the medersa was still closed. There is no indication yet when it will re-open. To find it, go to the main gate of the Andalous Mosque (a tall gateway at the top of some long steps), then take the street or alley on its right; it's not far, and there's a sign on the... More
