Experience from 5 out of 5 in every aspect. We discovered a fantastic country like Morocco starting from Marrakech and arriving at the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, passing through Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Chefchaouen, Fes and the Dades Valley in 11 days driving a total of 32 hours between the various places. All this was possible thanks to the perfect organization that gave us the great Jalil, driver and perfect advisor, always directing us to the best places to stay and where to eat (both local and non-local cuisine). The total 32 hours of driving were very pleasant thanks to his presence, an extraordinary person who will always make you feel at home. I would have put an extra star just for him. Grande Jalil best in town

This tour was recommended by a friend and I must say it was great advice. Since welcoming Jalil our driver has been considerate and attentive to our needs. The stay in the tented camp was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful tent nice and young staff. Great food and hearty breakfast. Abdelhabi who organized our tour could not do better. Each stage has been designed to make this long journey pleasant and relaxing. Would highly recommend

First time in Morocco. Tour organized to perfection, with Jalil driver, attentive to our needs to detail, with safe driving. After a journey with strategic stops, we arrived on board the camels at the tented camp, where we were welcomed by a team of young and kind boys, with an almost familiar welcome. There or and everything else more than great. Abdelhabi's organization was flawless. Travel absolutely to do!

A group of 15 and I flew from the UK and have been travelling throughout Morocco. Marrakech, Essouira, Casablanca, Agadir and now Merzouga, I have to say that the Zagora Experience has been the best part of our trip. Our tour guide was better than we could’ve hoped for. Years of Experience, supplying us with vast knowledge of the country and areas we travelled through. We were well looked after and I highly recommend booking with this family owned tour company🙏🙌

An experience that I recommend to everyone especially thanks to the fantastic presence of Jalil, our super driver who took us around to discover his country making us have fun and always recommending the best places to go. As much as I love travelling. I'm not used to leaving reviews on my travel experiences. This year, however, I couldn't help but do it! I recently returned from splendid Morocco, after spending 2 whole weeks there in the company of Abdhel: he is not just a local guide, for me, but he is much, much more. A friend, a fantastic person, a Moroccan who loves and lives with passion his land, his work, his people, showing to those who participate in the tour with him, a country characterized by many wonders and just as many contradictions, at times intact and genuine, at times now affected by the West and tourism, but always pure and TRUE and deeply enthralling, exciting. With Abdhel we toured the length and breadth of southern Morocco, ranging from the desert to the mountains to the immensity of the ocean, meeting Berbers, nomads and special souls. We learned how milk is obtained from a dromedary mother and how this is a panacea, according to Moroccan belief, for the body (and it is also delicious!). We saw how you can survive in a camp lost in nowhere, drawing water from wells located kilometers away, and never losing your smile. We learned to play Berber music, and to pronounce a few words. We admired the women's clothes, always beautiful even without a flap of skin in sight, strong, silent. Always ready to give me a smile and a little complicity. We have seen how the clothes of mountain women are different from those of those who live in the city or in the desert. We listened to the muezzin's prayer dozens of times, saw the storks nesting on the turrets of the mosques, chased gazelles in the dunes of Erg Chegaga, shared the couscous on the Friday holiday with a family from a remote village. We fell asleep in the moonlight in a nomadic tent, with nothing but a rug and a pillow, but wonder in our hearts. We slept and dined in the most luxurious, traditional riads, surrounded by an almost bewitching love for detail. Petted mules, dogs and cats everywhere, played with dusty children, drank tea with infinite and splendid people. Climbed mountains, traveled through valleys, walked between the high walls of canyons that have nothing to envy of those seen on the covers of Lonely Planet USA. We experienced a true, authentic, special Morocco. Just like the person who accompanied us. Morocco is the only country in the world to which I have returned for a second time. I had already been there in 2017, with Abdhel, always. That's when I met him. The love for that trip, for the tour with Abdhel and Zagora Experience, was so invasive that it led me to choose to return this year: I could never have made a better choice. Thanks to Morocco, a fascinating, mysterious and welcoming country, thanks Abdhel, the best choice you could make, for his frankness, his friendliness, his endless energy, and thanks Azzurra, for his availability, his sweetness and for having understood all my needs, in organizing this wonderful and unforgettable tour for us.

In December we went to Morocco with a group of friends and decided to take a tour with Zagora Experience. In fact it was spectacular.
Abdal with his Jeep took us to visit magnificent places in three days: starting from Marrakech we passed through the High Atlas, Ourzazate, the Rose Valley, the Dades Valley, the Todra Gorges, arriving to sleep in tents in the Merzouga desert after a unforgettable excursion with dromedaries at sunset. Furthermore, to get to our destination Fes we crossed the Tafilalet Oasis, the Ziz Valley and the Cedar Forest.
In other words, Abdal took us into the real Morocco, making us live an experience that would be difficult to forget.
He was fantastic with us and we will never stop thanking him for having brought this holiday and this country into our hearts
Super recommended!

We spent seven days in Morocco starting from Marrakech to Fes caressing scents, encountering different cultures and landscapes, from the city, to the desert, mountains, nomads, Bedouins and souks. Everything was organized perfectly by Azzurra who was able to meet our needs and satisfy them. Our driver Hamza was very patient and helpful, always punctual (like a Swiss) and meticulous. very attentive to driving which never hurts in Morocco. Its origins in the desert helped us understand local customs and traditions.

An excel·lent experience doing one day tour from Marrakech, trough the Atlas mountains , to Ourzatate visiting the kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and Taourit. The driver was very nice, polite and taking care of us in every moment.
We reserved this excursion 3 years ago but because of the virus we couldn't do that trip but Abdul kept for us the 100 euros we paid as a deposit till March 2023, the date we finally went to Marrakesh.
We were a group of 8 and we all would repeat with Zagora Experience in the future.
Thanks for everything Abdul.

We got Abdul's number from a friend of ours and contacted him for a 6 day tour! We spent the first two days in Fès, from here we then set off to discover Morocco from north to south with Zakaria, our driver! We did Fès, Chefchaouen, Meknes, Merzouga, excursion in the desert with dromedaries and finally we arrived in Marrakech! Zagaria was perfect! He made us feel at home and accompanied us on this journey, also making us enjoy Berber life! He took us to see the tents of a nomadic desert tribe! He introduced us to his family. We ate with him, his father (excellent guide for Rissani!!) and his family an excellent Berber pizza! We felt at home! Thank you so much for this experience!!!!

Hi, what is the price for a 2 days/1 night tour from Marrakech to Merzouga?
Written October 31, 2018
this is always negotiable and will depend on the scope of services (transportation/loging/food) as they operate on some commisions so the more you pay the more you can negotiate ;)
we did longer tour (4 days, including night in the desert):
- transport by Toyota TX 4x4 (actually was different)
- the 3 luxury hotels : xaluca + camp buchedor + dar chamaa
- camel ride to the desert camp and back
- total price 365euro per person
